About Scott

    Scott Kulick has been playing the Trumpet since age nine and the Guitar since age fifteen. The two instruments have drawn him in opposite directions, studying Classical and Jazz music on the trumpet while playing the guitar in Blues and Rock bands. In 2004 he recieved his B.A. degree in music from Roanoke College.

    As a trumpet player, Scott has freelanced as both a soloist and section player performing for major concerts, weddings, church services, night clubs, etc. He led the Jazz sextet Plan B. Performance highlights include Roanoke's Festival In The Park in 2004 and 2005 with the Rick Steele Quintet and Roanoke's New Years eve celebration in December 2004 with the Fat Daddy Blues Band.

    On Guitar, Scott has been featured in many groups, most recently as lead guitarist in Dave Bernard and Resurrected Sausage, an original pop/rock band out of Roanoke Virginia. Among their accomplishments, The Sausage won the Roanoke College Battle of the Bands in 2002, and placed in the finals in the Roanoke Valley Battle of the Bands in 2003. In 2002 the band recorded its debut EP, A Thousand Pounds of Us.
