In Brief : After decades of suffering from an inexplicable plague of insanity the vampires within Auld Reekie once again began to hold the court of Edinburgh. A court which has traditionally been one of national political intrigue, to date the Kindred of Edinburgh have not disappointed.

Other Details :After centuries of rule by the Ventrue clan the insanity plague caused the domain to fracture and fall to ruin. After the subsidance of the plague the clan once again sought to establish its dominance on the capital.

However there have been 'complications' for the Ventrue with a series of terrible disasters and mishaps befalling them. No less than four Ventrue Princes have met final death whilst holding Praxis in Edinburgh (Saint-Claire, Ford, Philips and recently Hurst).

After apparently exhausting their resources (and numbers) within the central belt of Scotland, paxis has fallen to a Malkavian, Star. Praxis was taken when the Prince Hurst was killed at a masked ball held in Cheshire (see obiturary) and Star quickly took his place.
