During my stay at CLAM I was put in charge of writing a diagnostics application tool for IBM's 2.1 release of HACMP/6000 (High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing). This tool provided the user with ways of verifying the operational state of a cluster of servers, error reporting, clear and efficient filtering and viewing of log files, tracing system events, and checking for inconsistencies among volume groups. This code was written in C language and C-Shell, for use on the AIX platform.
