read all about it in Freek Show Scram's second Bubblegum Ball was held on Saturday, March 23, 2002 at AMF Midtown Lanes. Scads of gum fiends turned up to bowl to the sugar sugary sounds of the sparkle*jets UK, glamsters Marizane channeling the spirit of the Lemon Pipers, and the snappy picks of DJs Jim Freek and Irene LeConto. Bubblegum Queen Kelly Kuvo had her calipers, and piles of great swag from Buddha (Partridge Family, Ohio Express, Lemon Pipers and 1910 Fruitgum Co. CDs), Hyperion (copies of Danny Bonaduce's wild autobiography), Feral House (the Bubblegum Book), and Dubble Bubble (ltd edition gum tubs with NSync on 'em!). Jim Freek's Squadron of Go-Go Girlies danced on the counters, and Ron Dante of the Archies basked in the glow of fan adulation. It looked a little something like this...
Bubblegum King Ron Dante does the swim with the Bubblegum Queen!

sparkle*jets UK make like Crazy Horses in classic Osmonds style. That wacky Marizane... they think they're the Sour Grape Bunch!
Bubblegum Queen Kelly with glamorous Giddle Partridge, her dressmaker. Jim Freek, the new Humble Harve (that's DJ Irene far right) Go-go girl Kina on the way to a 6 incher! The Queen crowns her successor and gives him some swag. It is a worthy new head that wears the crown her Mercury Man hoists Dame Darcy James, our delightful doorman, and one of Kelly's magic "BLOW!" tickets all the way from SF, Cathy Lynch & Steve Watson
