This plugin applies a painting-like effect to images. The effect is illustrated in the following image, showing before at the top and after underneath. Note however that this uses extreme parameter values, much more subtle effects are possible.

Here is the user interface to the plugin:

Light: Determines the amount of light paint effects.

Dark: Determines the amount of dark paint effects.

Method: Changes the paint effect method. The low value gives a fast, detailed method, however it may show 'square' artefacts at large light and dark values. The high value produces least artefacts, however finer detail is often lost.
