5 How did you find Scribbly? Answer: my dad told me about it 6 What got you interested in Nature? Answer: definately my dad. as a child i was lucky to be with him a lot. we camped, gold panned, fossicked for saphires, garnets,smokey quartz,temora greenstone & more. we watched beautiful sunsets & sunrises from our camp spots,we hiked,looked at plants and trees, we walked the bush, looked at birds, bird nests,spiders, webs, frogs, you name it. i am now lucky enough to have my own children & they too have an interest in nature.
7 What area or ecosystem do you enjoy visiting most? Answer: i love the beach / ocean and all areas i have been to but the bush is special to me.
8 Favourite animal. (one domestic and one wild :)) Answer: our fox terrier x jack russell ...FRED i love frogs. my favourite bird is the mistletoe bird, i can't really choose just one.
9 I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree. Is this statement true or false (IYHO)? Answer: true and it would have to be a very good poem to change my mind .

2 Where do you come from? Answer: We live in the north where the wet season started last Friday night at about 9.30 and now we've got crap weather to put up with for the next 4-5 months

4 How long have you been visiting/posting to Scribbly? Answer: Some might suggest too long, but in reality about a year or two
5 How did you find Scribbly? Answer: through the SSSF
6 What got you interested in Nature? Answer: my brother Richard, Australia's foremost Gerbil breeder and exporter of the "Honduran Hairless" Gerbil, first made me interested in nature when he introduced a goanna to my avery of Finches. The result was catasthophic, the poor goanna!
7 What area or ecosystem do you enjoy visiting most? Answer: any ecosystem regardless, so long as there's some eco in the system
8 Favourite animal. (one domestic and one wild :)) Answer: Obviously not Goannas or Gerbils, I go for Wedge tailed Eagles, all fishes and Antechinus flaverpes
9 I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree. Is this statement true or false (IYHO)? Answer:I've got no idea, I was never any good at poultry.

well, I am not a Scribbly regular, but since I saw this thread I am going to post my info anyway. :)

2 Where do you come from? Answer: Christchurch. (the main city in the South Island of NZ). But have been living in Sydney (the main city in the main island of Australia. :P ) for about 6 months.
3 Age (approx. if you wish :)) Answer:23yrs, 11 months and about three weeks.
4 How long have you been visiting/posting to Scribbly? Answer: umm...since I started going to SSSF, probably a couple of months.
5 How did you find Scribbly? Answer: through the links at the top of the SSSF page.
6 What got you interested in Nature? Answer: Living on a farm.
7 What area or ecosystem do you enjoy visiting most? Answer: I dont know what it is called, but I love the Abel Tasman National Park at the top of the South Island. And some of the mountain areas in mid-Canterbury are pretty cool.
8 Favourite animal. (one domestic and one wild :)) Answer: domestic - definitely dogs. wild - Thar.

Only a couple of months, Totty. I inherited her from a friend who was moving. She's a Cherax tenuimanus from WA, she's very intellegent, and very beautiful, bright, periwinkle blue with pink/purple spots. I love her more than my cat (who was also inherited).
