For anyone who wants to submit stories to my website, I have only a few hard and fast rules, but I insist they be followed to the letter, or your contributions won't make it into my library. There will be NO exceptions.

1) First and foremost, absolutely, positively, unequivocally NO HENTAI STORIES!!!! I can't make that plain enough. This rule is completely non-negotiable as I have far too much respect for Naoko Takeuchi's characters to accept that sort of thing. Period! End of argument! Poetry, on the other hand would be really cool to get as I appreciate people who compose it, something I've never been able to do myself.

2) I created this site using a Macintosh, meaning there might be a compatabilioty problem regarding file formats. If you plan on submitting your story to me, and you use either a Mac or a PC, please send your chapters (two at a time maximum) to me as "Plain Text" files (or whatever the equivilent might be for your word processor) only. This universal format is easiest for me to work with, and the sooner I can open your files, the sooner I can post your work in the library. You can also include your chapters in the body of your email message which I can then copy and paste into my webpage making program. Whenever possible, I will try to email you back to acknowledge receipt of your work, but that isn't set in stone. As for a posting schedule, that will depend on available time and the amount of material I receive.

3) You, as the author are responsible for you own spell checking and paragraph formatting for your stories. I refuse to do your work for you, so be dilligent when you're writing. After all, you wouldn't want your stories with mispelled words being seen by who knows how many people who'll visit this site. Also, please make sure your lines are WRAPPED. This means that when somebody opens the file containing your fanfic, it will be aligned properly, with paragraphs, page breaks and so forth.

4) To satisfy any legal eagles out there, and to keep me out of trouble, I must insist that you have a disclaimer at the very top of each chapter you send, similar to the one below:

Sailor Moon and all related characters are the property of Takeuchi Naoko, Toei Animation and DIC.

If you use other characters (i.e. popular fictional characters, or another author's Sailor Scout creations) in your stories, please give the creator in question the proper recognition in your disclaimer. Think of it as a common courtesy from one writer to another. In addition to that, each chapter should also have the following after the disclaimer as in this example:

The Frankenstein Syndrome
by Jeffrey C. Branch
Chapter One
Rating: PG

If you wish to include your email address so people can get in touch with you (As you've seen in the stories I've done, I've included mine in the disclaimer), by all means, feel free. However, that's not a requirement.

5) As for story ratings, they'll break down here just like they do with motion pictures. This is important as this site will probably be visited by many different age groups. You must rate the ENTIRE story, not each separate chapter. For example, if you have an eight chapter story and a character uses the F-word in only one chapter, that automatically makes the whole story PG. If you're not certain as to what the rating might be, use PG. Please don't ask me to rate or review your story as I simply will not have the time. Use common sense when determining your rating. Below are the ratings you should use for your stories:

G: General (suitable for all ages)
PG-13: Parental Guidance for kids under the age of 13
PG: Parental Guidance (mild adult language, violence, some sexual reference)
R: Restricted (extreme violence, adult language, strong sexual reference)
Poetry will not be rated

6) Lastly, don't ask me to read your stories and give you my opinion on them. I simply won't have the time since I'll still be busy writing my own stories. If you don't think your story is good enough to be seen by the people who will visit my site, then don't send it. In the long run, only you can make the decision as to whether or not your work is good enough for submission. So, with that, I hope you'll decide to share your stories with me and all the Sailor Moon fans out in cyberspace!
