In the beginning, THE HECKLER, a volatile young man antagonizes THE POETESS, an enlightened poet, at gunpoint. Through the spoken word she helps him to realize that he has been mislead by America's racism. The Poetess challenges him to Expose "The Black Bullet Dichotomy. " Tempers flare, emotions escalate, a gunshot rings out. The Heckler is mortally wounded, but is he dead? The Heckler now THE SLEEPER, is in a coma. IN A DREAMLIKE STATE He is escorted by a spiritual guide to the mystical city of Utopia, Mississippi. Once there, ancestors like Harriet Tubman and martyrs like Tupac Shakur help him to understand "The Black Bullet Dichotomy." The Sleeper experiences an awakening. The Sleeper, now enlightened, is THE MAD PROFT. He awakens in a coffin, with a bullet hole from his right temple straight through his left temple. He has risen from the dead. Armed with the knowledge of the ancestors, The Mad Profit is transformed. ' He exorcises his demons by teaching his followers the truth. He exposes "The Black Bullet Dichotomy". But in the end is he doomed to the fate of others who speak out against injustice... |
