Nicely Framed

In this tutorial we're gonna make a nice frame for our Scrippy stationery
Open Scrippy 2.0 and open sample 10-advanced left container.
As you can see it has nice top,bottom and side borders.We're gonna
make them ourselves in PSP: Open a new image,transparent of 100 wide and 10 high, Floodfill it with a piece of the image you're gonna use in your stationery. (with your selectiontool-rectangle,then convert to a seamless pattern) Then we're gonna use eyecandy:swirl,i used the 90 twist-preset. Then apply an inner bevel,i used the bead preset and then i made it seamless with fmtiletools,seamless tile and vertical NOT checked. Save this as an jpg to a folder,you can use this in the sample as a top -and bottomscroll. Now we're gonna open a new image of 10 wide and 100 high,and then repeat what we did the first time.You can use these in the sample as left -and rightborderscrolls. Needless to say you can change to the background to something of your taste =o) make it scroll or whatever,put a nice graphic or gif on it,just experiment,experiment,experiment =o) Happy Creating!! |
