There are lots of possibilities to make great stationery with Scrippy.
Have you ever tried to make some nice transparency effects?
For instance:you can make a background scroll over a lakeimage to give
it a ripplelook. But this won't work unless you lower the transparency
the background and let it scroll in a container.
Here's an example of howto: You can download the zipped graphics i used for this tut here to make your own example with it,i will provide you with the right settings.. Open a new image in Scrippy 2.0 and press insert-background.You can insert your own background or use mine(fallbg2) . Next press insert-positioned object-positioned image(fall.jpg). Set the transparency to 15. In your background insert a positioned container with these settings: Set position and width checked position from center:0 specified size:375 Set position and height checked Position from center:0 specified size:281 In ths container we are gonna insert another background, the falleaves, ,let them scroll down and to the right to make them look like falling from the trees. If you check your preview now you should see the leaves falling. You can also put a midi in this stationery and a ticker. We are now gonna put in a nice watereffect: In the background that is most at the top we're gonna insert another positioned container with these settings: Set left and right edges checked Left position from left checked and distance:185 Right position from right checked and distance:115 Set top and bottom edges checked Top position from top checked and 275 Bottom position from bottom checked and 100 Now in your container insert a waterlike background,(fallbg) (i made this background from the water in the picture,i selected a piece from the middle, converted it to a seamless background and then i applied the almatera puddle filter to it(lake)) Let the background scroll down and set the transparency to 75. now go check out your stationery in the preview...cool huh? The possibilities with these containers and transparency are virtually endless, you just have to get the hang of the sizing and positioning,it took me a while to get it right too ;o) Happy creating!! |
