Simply put, along the twelve years of our marriage, Gary and I have come up with "pet" names, as most couples do. For some reason, we tend to relate well to animals, especially
MOOSE, BEARS, and HORSES
Believe it or not (no yawning, remember?) I actually found a WHOLE CATALOG devoted to MOOSE products -- mugs, pictures, books, caps, key chains, etc. The catalog, for those who give a MOOSE'S RUMP, is called "Mostly Moose." I kid you not. So now you know the legend of the Moose (in our household, anyway.) To honor this silly bit of marital jokeplay, I'm titling my fiction/poetry page: MOOSE MUSINGS.
