1) Attend All-City Orchestra and school lessons every week – arrive on time and set up quickly.
2) Bring all necessary materials to class: instrument, music, pencil, etc.
3) Come to class even if you do not have your instrument. Try to notify me ahead of time if you must miss a lesson.
4) Make up any class work or tests missed due to strings class (ahead of time if possible).
5) Practice at least 75 minutes a week (5 days a week, 15 minutes a day).
6) Have fun!!!
REWARDS / CONSEQUENCES
1) Students with a completed practice sheet showing at least 75 minutes for the week and a parent signature will receive a Jolly Rancher.
2) The school with the best overall attendance for All-City and lessons will get a surprise at the end of the year.
3) Students will sometimes be assigned songs to practice and perform in class in order to receive a Jolly Rancher, sticker, or other reward. Songs and rewards
are chosen by the teacher.
4) Parents will be called if a student has three or more unexcused absences within a grading period. This includes both lessons and All-City practices.
