Information and Schedule of First Lessons

What follows is a list of
times for the very first meeting of beginning strings class for each
school. We will be learning and playing
from the very first class!
At this meeting, students will receive a complete lesson
schedule, get their instruments set up, learn about instrument care, and begin
learning position, grip, and their first notes!
Supplies
list:
- Instrument
“outfit” (should include instrument, bow, case, rosin, and cleaning cloth)
- Violins
and Violas – shoulder pad

Cellos and basses – endpin stop (the
“belt” style that hooks to a chair is best)

Music stand for home practice and
All-City Orchestra rehearsals (starting in November)
