1 cup of red
wine

600g diced
beef |

6 small new potatoes |
halved |

onion |
coarsely chopped |

5 fresh cayenne chillies |

2 teasp ground cardamoms |

10 cloves |

2 teasp cinnamon |

3 tablespoons olive oil |

Method |
|
i) Turn on the blender and mix to a smooth sauce ii) Mix the beef, potatoes and red wine with the sauce and marinate in the fridge overnight iii) Heat the oil in the wok ( medium ) and stir fry the cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon and the remaining chillies and garlic for 2 mins, then add the onion and stir fry for a further 5 mins. iv) Mix the stir fry with the marinade and put it into a casserole dish and bake at about 200 f until the potatoes are nice and soft ( about an hour... ? ). v) Serve with rice and / or nann |
