~~..~~ I was born in Norfolk, VA and grew up in Northeast Tennessee. All the hills, little forests, and valleys which surround my home are just one of the factors that made me love romanticizing the past. I love anything having to do with the 1940s on back in time. Most of the things which I write are set in the past, but not always. I first began writing at the age of 9 -- if I remember correctly. They were just simple stories, mostly written inside my head. As I got older, however, I began to write more of them down, and I now have a wealth of old stories piled in my room. (many of them aren't that good ^_^) ~~..~~ I've been writing longer than I have been drawing/painting. I was never really encouraged by people other than my family as far as my artwork was concerned. However, thanks to my sheer determination to draw again (I used to draw all the time in junior high), and the encouragement from one of my best friends, Diana, I began to draw again. I then decided that was going to be my major in college ... sadly I'm STILL there trying to complete all of the courses (there are alot of them for a Fine Arts degree). ~~..~~ Books/Authors: *Classical* Edger Allen Poe, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Anthony Trollope, F.
