Oh Pocky, you always look so silly with chunks of stuff attached. Even if they do destroy the sleek silhouette, chunks will always have a home with chocolate. Almonds and chocolate are natural allies, and somehow Glico doesn't screw this one up.

It tastes like chocolate with almond chunks, and that's all I could ask here. Unlike Coconut Milk Pocky, it isn't crumbly -- instead, it has the best crunch of any flavor I've tried. My only complaint is the smell. Most flavors have a bit of an artificial smell, but this one's a lot worse than average. Mysterious.

Smell
Artificial something and coffee. Coffee is not an ingredient. 2/5

Taste
Chocolatey, and less artificial than it smells. Almond flavor is slightly overshadowed, but it's present and very good. 7/10

Texture
Very crisp stick, nice crunchy almonds, and a bit of smooth chocolate. What a combo. 5/5

Presentation
Nice shiny packaging. Sticks inevitably look a little silly from the chunks of almond. 4/5
