Intended Flavor: sweet pumpkin coating on a plain stick Review Date: November 25, 2004 If this were pumpkin spice I'm sure I'd be writing a rave review. Instead Glico aimed for a simple sweet pumpkin flavor, and hit something blandly pleasant that bears no resemblance to pumpkin. This tastes like nothing so much as Whipped Cream Mousse Pocky, or artificial vanilla. It's the pumpkin flavor someone might create if their closest contact with a pumpkin was seeing a picture of a pumpkin pie. I could give this a much more positive review if not for how poorly this imitates its intended flavor, and a slight chemical aftertaste. If you want vanilla, get some Whipped Cream Mousse Pocky, which at least has a cocoa stick to make the coating's blandness a little more interesting. I do hope Glico takes another shot at a winter seasonal flavor.
