This was meant to be a Hana birthday special fic but as usual, Mel never got around to actually finish this fic in time. It all started when the once cheerful but fiery Hanamichi suddenly lost his brusqueness as tragedy upon tragedy befell on him. Rukawa on the other hand then realized that all the past enmity between them were all under false pretenses and soon acknowledge the desire for Hanamichi. But will Hanamichi accept him ?
