Part Five: Background
Once you finished working on the figure, it's time to for the background. If you drew it first, then good for you ^__^ (to colour it, just repeat the steps you used on the figure). If you didn't and are planning to do it with photoshop (as in our dearest Mime's case), follow these steps to work more comfortably:
In Mime's case, I used the rectangular marqueé, the paint bucket, the paintbrush, the filter --> texture --> grain --> vertical effect and the blur --> gaussian blur. That's what I get for not drawing the background directly -_- it is a lot easier to work with a drawn background than to actually make it with the program itself (and the results are a lot nicer, but weeeeeell, Mime only needed a prison cell ^_~)
