Thinking Out Loud
On this page I keep all old Thinking Out Loud posts which are in no way ordered (besides chronologically).
Rough Day
Saturday, April 3rd, 2004
This whole day was 4 bad events and one good one.
Testing
What’s worse than a 45 minute Math Test at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning? A 45 minute Math Test at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning followed by a Spanish Test, that’s what. Part of the writing part of the test was a mix of Espanol y English.
Stratocaster Nirvana
I was tired. I woke my self up by banging out “Purple Haze” and The Star–Spangled banner on a left–handed Fender Stratocaster. Sweet. Top it off with some sick keyboard effects and you’re flyin’.
Shopping
Next in my day was shopping for a suit. I need one for my confirmation and graduation, but there are complications and situations. Let me tell you that shopping for suits and sandpaper at Sears isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Passion of the Christ
Not the movie, but the play performed in Church. It’s very long, but I found many fun things to do with the palms. A 90 minute mass is too long for me.
Daylight Savings Time
Whoever invented this should be hung on a stick. It’s the stupidest idea ever. In fact, my great–uncle never even changed his clocks. Arizona, anyone?
