Phi-Phi island:
Since my last trip had been so much fun, I decided to come back here. I talked to some friends and we all went to Thailand for the O-Bon 2003 holiday.

To my suprise, the island changed a lot in 2 years. It is much more touristic than before with even more souvenirs shops. Now you have so many choices for scuba diving and trips around the islands. There's stores on EVERY corner! There is even rock climbing available!
A great improvement since the last I came is the Thai massage...After a hard day scuba diving or on the beach, it helps to relax ...
This time I came better prepared. I brought my undersea camera. There was a lot of particles in the water because of the rain and the wind, so the underwater visibility was not as great as last time. It was still, however, beautiful.
The only dive where I did not take any pictures was the night dive. That dive was fantastic! We went to the sea floor and we hid ou flashlights. It was totally dark! As soon as we moved our hands, there were millions of tiny specks of green light. They were bioluminescent plankton! The dive itself was also very enjoyable. I saw lion fish, sea snakes, tiny crabs, and so much more. If you like diving, you MUST try it at least once in your life. The experience is more than worth it.

Here
are a couple of photos that I took during one of my dives. Leopard sharks...I
did not touch them like Simon did last time, but it was exiting to see them
so close!
The main activity in Phi-Phi is scuba diving, but there is also the beach :
I think I could EASILY spend 2 weeks here and just relax and do nothing all day.
Unfortunatly,
it rained a lot. It did not bother me too much since I was diving and I was
wet anyway and it kept me from getting a monster sunburn like the time I went
to Phuket.

I
recommend to everyone that reads this to follow in our footsteps and basically
do what we did: Come here with friends for a couple of days, take a drink and
just relax. After a year of hard work you are entitled to a reward.
