Mill Pond

This is a fairly big lake at 6acres and the depths range from 2ft ~ 6ft. This is the clubs premiere big carp water! Or at least it’s going to be! We all hope.

This lake was an old mill pond as you have probably guessed by the name, It was sadly destroyed by the ‘Great Storm’ so the club had lots of work to do and I think it is fair to say they have done a grand job on it too. The club transformed it from a disaster area to one of the most beautiful lakes the club has, well done lads!!

As fish go they netted it last close-season and took 100 bream out the biggest being 10lb 6ozs, they also put in numerous double-figure carp. They are going to net it again to remove some more bream as they again made themselves a nuisance. Leave the boilies alone Mr Bream! These fish will be moved just down the road to Broadhurst Lake.

This water should produce some very big and nice fish soon! Or all the carp lads do anyway

Well-done Isfield for transforming this lake into a real beauty!! 5/5 (soon to be)

Well worth a visit if you like carp and want to bank a few, Quite a lot of anglers fish it though so please please be quiet and don’t drop litter because it would be a shame to lose such a hot prospect for the future.
