Call to Arms

Pt. 1

Well, I think we've more or less proven that petitions and complaints to Congressmen and Congresswomen don't work like we'd hope.  I recieved a typed letter from one of my Congressmen in response to an e-mail I had sent him, and although it looked hopeful, I'm not going to depend on it.

Here's what we need to do.   We need to start a grassroots campaign against oppression.  We all know that as soon as they take our guns, they become a completely oppressive government.   Charles Schumer, Sarah Brady, Bill Klinton, and the Algore are all looking to take away our freedom.  They're pushing the limit.  Every new "crime-bill" they pass takes another step toward the line.  Granted, the NRA is slowing them down, but they're just moving the line back a little further, and I'm here to say THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Note that the following excerpt is from Cooper's Corner in the June 1995 issue of Guns & Ammo:

"Amid all the dismal news that we acquire daily about the state of the nation and the world, some dim but promising lights appear.  For the first time since the reign of Roosevelt II, people are begginning to notice the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  Much as liberals may laugh, that Article is still on the books.  It established beyond any question that powers not granted to the U.S. government by the U.S. Constitution are specifically unlwful and need not be obeyed.
"Note this from the Sixteenth American Jurisprudence, Second Edition, Section 177:
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having formed in nature of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void and ineffective for any purpose, since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment and not merely from the date of decision so branding it.  An unconstitutional law in legal contemplation is as inoperative as if it had never been pased.  Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would behad the statute not been enacted.
"Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it.
"No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

        THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

So go not quietly into that gentle night, my friends.  Do not give up with out the proverbial fight.  Give 'em all the Hell you can, for as long as you can.  Victory shall be ours, let's hope we can do it peacefully.  'Nuff said.
