PLAYLISTS FOR WUWG'S APPALACHIAN TRAIL Vaguely Folk Music Show NOVEMBER 2001
show produced and hosted by singin' steve sedberry
***playlist for 27 November 2001*** My guest for two whole hours between the following songs was Nick Jordan,
just-released prisoner of conscience from the demonstration at the gate of
what was until about January called the "U. S. Army School of the Americas"
(now WHISC, Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation). Nick
and about 32 others, including our friend, Daniel, were among about 33
peaceful but resolute protestors arrested on the evening of 18 November
2001 at Columbus, GA. Nick answered questions posed by your host/producer,
Steve Sedberry, and made some interesting comments about his activities on 17-20 November.Next week maybe we can play the old song "Columbus Stockade" for all the
friendly folk who intimately know what the stockade looks like inside.
