Sonny was sitting in the livingroom the next morning, thinking about what Brenda had suggested the night before. He ran his hands down his face when he heard Brenda's voice.
B: "Could you help me onto the couch?" He opened his eyes and looked at her.
S: "Sure.." He nodded and stood up. He bent his knees and lifted her out of her chair and placed her on the couch. She looked at him.
B: "Your still mad?"
S: "I was never mad to begin with." He touched her cheek. "Is there anything I can get you?"
The bell rang and she smiled.
B: "How bout the door?"
He nodded and moved her chair out of the way, walking around the couch to the front door. He pulled it open and found Carly and Lois infront of it.
Ca: "Hey sexy.."
Lo: "Corinthos...If only Ned could look this good in the morning." He rolled his eyes and laughed.
S:"Brenda's in the livingroom."
Carly walked in, followed by Lois who slapped his ass as he shut the door.
Lo: "Firm!!"
He laughed.
Ca: "Hey Mariah." She sat next to her.
S: "I think I'll be in the kitchen.."
He hurried inside before he was sexually harassed anymore. Lois grinned after him then Jumped onto the couch.
Lo:"So girlfriend..why the early meeting."
Brenda smiled at her friends.
B: "I was talking to Nick last night and Lawrence is sueing the band for breech of contract."
Lo: "Scumbag.."
B:"Yeah well because of the lawsuit no one will back them and give them a record deal."
Carly looked at her nails, wishing they were longer.
Ca: "Bummer...so what's this have to do with us."
B: "I can't finish my album..they were Lawrence's songs..besides I can't perform..singing is just out of the picture for me."
Lo: "ok.."
B: "What I'm getting at is...I want to start a record company."
Lois' eyes widened.
Lo: "Your serious?"
Ca: "Ok you've got our attention now."
Brenda smiled.
B: "And I was hoping to find two partners."
Lois grinned.
Lo: "Girl..this is so exciting!"
Ca: "I'm down!"
Lo:"Wait.." Her face fell. "How the hell are we gonna build a record company?"
Ca: "True..what the fuck do we know about record sales and gigs.."
B: "That's why we have me...I learned a thing or two..C'mon guys..just think we can back a huge band like 98 Degrees and recruit..."
Ca: "A big office...lots of cash.."
Lo: "Center of the entertainment industry.."Sighs. "Ah..it was a nice idea Brenda.."
B: "You guys! Come on now..we can do this, I know we can..So it'll take alot of work..just think of all the people we'll meet...our names on ever CD we produce!"
Ca: "Are we forgetting...big issue is MONEY...I mean we got money but not enough to start a major record company, and hire people...pay people..pay artists...I mean.."
B: "We get a percentage of what they make."
Lo: "Yeah but before that we have to book, I mean we'd have to set up an office, recording studio..like a firm type thing. Thats a lot of money...and we can't leave ourselves broke."
Ca: "It wa a good idea though Brenda...maybe in a few years."
Brenda looked down. Lois sighed and stood up.
Lo: "Well girly..we better get going...I'll come by on Monday ..next four days will be nuts with work."
Brenda nodded.
B: "Ok."
Ca: "I'll call ya."
Brenda nodded.
Lo: "CORINTHOS!"
Sonny walked out of the kitcen biting into an apple.
S: "Hmm?"
Lo: "See ya." She blew him a kiss and then Carly rolled her eyes.
Ca:"Ciao sexy.."
S: "Bye guys."
He watched them walk out of the house then looked at Brenda who was staring down at her hands. He sat down next to her and took another bite of the apple.
S: "Didn't go to well huh?"
B: "Don't be to happy."
S: "Hey.." He placed his finger under her chin and lifted it, forcing her to look at him.
"I'm sorry..wanna talk about it?"
She sighed.
B: "I know you don't agree with this..but I really wanted this..I thought it would be good for me..get my mind off things...and the girls wanted it to, but the truth is we don't have enough cash to start a major record company."
Sonny looked at her for a moment then took another bite of the apple. She leaned back and looked at him.
B: "Glad to see your not too heart broken." She rolled her eyes then pouted as she crossed her arms at her chest. Sonny chewed and then took another bite.
S: "I'll give finance the company."
Brenda turned to him, her eyes wide.
B: "What'd you say?"
He swallowed and looked at her, putting the apple on the coffee table. He turned to her.
S: "It means that much to you?"
B: "Yes."
He nodded.
S: "Then I'll give you the money...and I'll help yous anyway I can."
She smiled.
B: "You mean that?"
He nodded. And she threw her arms around him and smiled.
B: "Thank you..."
He smiled.
S: "Anything for you."
She looked at him.
B: "How will this work?"
S: "You each be 33% owners and the 1% left goes to me?"
B: "Sounds ok.." She grinned. ''I can't believe your doing this for me."
He moved her hair behind her ears and whispered hoarse.
S: "Why?"
B: "IT's alot of money.."
S: "IT's just money."
She caressed his cheek.
B: "I love you."
He dimpled and moved close.
S: "Yeah?"
She grinned.
B: "Mmmhhmm.." She stared at his lips as he moved closer.
S: "How much?" He whispered as he helped her lay back down on the couch. He leaned over her. His lips almost touching hers.
B: "This much.." She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips against his. Her lips fused with his and he moaned softly, as he sucked on her lower lip. She parted her lips inviting him to come and taste her. His tongue slid into her mouth and wrapped around hers and slowly and gently he made love to her mouth. Probing ever so gently, but devouring her in the same perspective. Her fingers threaded his hair while his hands held her hips. They couldn't get enough of one another and in a way it was as though them being like that was a matter of life or death. Alot of emotions flew through them. In a rush of passion she unbuckled his belt while he unbuttoned her blouse, with each button undone he pressed his lips to the newly revealed flesh. She closed her eyes biting her lip.
B: "Sonny.." She whispered."
He slid his hand over her bra and looked at her.
S: "You want me to stop?" He answered hoarse, looking into her eyes.
B: "No..." She looked down. "But if we can't make love--"

He jumped off Brenda and Zipped up his pants while Brenda buttoned her shirt. Louie was laughing and Adela had her eyes closed.
A: "Tell me when your finished."
S: "Louie you fucking laugh one more time.."
Louie held a straight face.
Lou: "Sorry.." He burst our laughing."
B: "Sorry Adela."
AD: "Uh..It's..You know I think I'm just gonna bring the groceries in the kitchen."
She hurried into the kitchen and Brenda closed her eyes and shook her head.
B: "Well that wasn't too embarassing."
Sonny looked at her.
S: "Sorry." He licked his lips and she opened her eyes and grinned.
Louie cleared his throat.
Lou: "I really...hate to interupt but Sonny we gotta talk."
S: "You want me to help you in the chair?"
B: "Yeah.." He picked her up and placed her in the chair. "I'm gonna see if your mom, needs help."
S: "K.." He watched her wheel herself into the kitchen and then he turned to Louie.
S: "What's up?"
Lou: "Well I was under the impression you wanted me to do you a favor?"
S: "Right..the guy." He reached into his wallet and handed him a slip of paper that had a name and address."
LoU: "Steven Mancuzzi, he lives in Jersey?"
S: "Yeah."
Lou: "Alright so what do I ask.."
S: "You get all you can on his daughter, and where she can be, the name of the guy she married. So we can run a check...Benny ran one with Mancuzzi as her name, she doesn't go by it anymore."
Lou: "Aright, I'm gonna drive down Sunday, so I'm only away from the club one night..On my way home I'll just stop by and tell you everything."
S: "Sounds good."
Louie nodded.
S: "Louie..Thanks for doing this..You know I trusted Jason over you in the past...didn't give you a chance."
Lou: "Don't worry about it. You take care of Brenda."
S: "I intend too."
The front door opened and they turned, Jason walked in with Lois and Carly.
Ca; "We came to say goodbye to Adela."
S: "She's in the kitchen with Brenda."
Lou: "Where's Lisa?"
Lo: "Ma is giving her a list of your favorite foods."
Louie's eyes widened and he turned to Sonny.
Lou: "That's my cue to go."
Sonny laughed.
S: "See ya Sunday."
Louie nodded and ran out of the house as the girls walked into the living room.
Ja: "He's doing a good job."
S: "Yeah he is.."
Ja; "So let me just ask you, are you ever gonna trust me again?"
Sonny stared at him.
S: "You fucked up Jason."
Ja: "I thought we were past that."
S: "Yeah personally, but professionally I can't let you run the show right now."
Ja; "I'm only good to take people out but not give orders..I made one mistake."
S: "And it could've cost me everything. All I'm saying is I might be out a while and it's very risky. Louie knows what he's doing..and I can't take chances."
Jason shrugged.
Ja; "Fine.."
S: "Jason come on..
Ja: "Sonny it's deaded.."
Sonny looked at him and then shook his head.
B: "I have something to tell you guys.."
Lo: "If it's another get your hopes up ideas I'll pass."
B: "Sonny's gonna fund the company."
Carly turned around, her eyes wide.
Ca; "What?"
B: "He said he'll give us the money to get us off the ground..I want us to give it back to him once we're big though."
Lo: "Of course...but Oh my god..we can do this!" She grinned.
Brenda smiled.
B: "Looks like it."
Ca; "How would it work though."
B: "It's like a loan I guess..but it's our company we'll be on the deeds.' SHe grinned. "Each owning 33 % and Sonny the remaining."
Carly laughed.
Ca; "I can't believe it..Oh god this so exciting!"
B: "We have so much to do."
Lo: "First we need a name."
B: "She's right.."
C: "LBC?"
Lo: "Hmmm...what about BKLYN records?"
B: "Brooklyn Records?"
Ca; "Sexual Records?"
The girls laughed.

B: "Sound Factory?"

B: "What if we named it after someone...like Gallo Entertainment?"

Chapter 147
Lucky Sevens was bustling with people Friday night. As quickly as Louie and Jason poured the drinks, they had to refill. Lois was brought down from Entertainment, to bartender for the rest of the night leaving them short on entertainment. All Louie remember's is Lois saying "Leave it to me.." He knew better to ask her what she was doing, and the next thing he knew was that Ned was infront of him wearing leather pants saying...
N: "I don't think I can do this.."
Louie's eyes widened and he turned to Lois.
Lou: "Oh You've got to be kidding me!"
Lo: "Louie shut up you got a better idea? Nedley baby...darling...sweetheart. I don't think your hearing me...If you don't do this I WILL GRIND YOUR BALLS!"
Ja: "Lois what the fuck is he gonna do? Sing people the Wallstreet Blues?"
N: "I can sing...but not like that.." He pointed to Lisa. "She throws Liquor all over men and dances against them" Points to Lois. "If you think I'm gonna rub my ass in some guys crotch...I THINK I RATHER YOU GRIND MY BALLS!"
Lois pushed ned towards the bar.
Lo: "JUST FUCKING SING WITH HER AND try to like dance with women or something..."
Lisa turned and Saw Lois pulling Ned onto the bar.
Li: "Uh..." She spoke into the microphone.."Aright guys..Right now I want ya to give it up for.."
Lo: "EDDIE MAINE!" She jumped off the bar and started pouring drinks as the spotlight went on Ned and Carly and Lisa Screamed. Ned looked...Calm cool...what am I saying, he looked like he was ready to shit a brick. He knees bucked and shook. Lisa walked over to him and pulled him to the center of the bar and The crowd roared. Ned leaned over and whispered.
N: "I uh..I...I don't think I can do this."
Li: "Shut the fuck up and sing." She said as she smiled, she handed him the mic and grabbed a few bottles of Liquor and started to pour it down people's throats. The spotlight shined brightly on Ned, He gulped as the music started.
Jason leaned over Louie's shoulder.
Ja: "He looks like he's gonna throw up."
Louie looked up at Ned.
N: "Uh.Shugar pie Honey bunch

The crowd was silent and all looked at him.
Lou: "We're finished."
Lisa bit her lip before walking behind Ned, shaking her hips. She slapped her hands on his waist and as he sang she ran her fingers up his chest with a grin on. The crowd was laughing.

Ned looked at her then the screaming crowd, and slowly he took off his shirt, He started to grin and he threw it into the crowd. He grabbed the mic from her and started to the twist. Lisa and Carly through their heads back in laughter watching Ned walk across the bar singing.

He started to do the running man and the crowd was laughing and screaming.

Louie and Jason were hysterical.
Lisa grinned and her and Carly started to squirt him with Jack Daniels. He shook his head as he sang, shaking off all the liquor.

Lois grinned and turned to Louie and Jason.

Father Gallo shut the television off and yawned when he heard the bell to the rectory ring. He sighed and looked at the clock.
FG: "Who could this be..." He opened the door. "OH I forgot you were in town...their goes my shot at sleep." He smiled. "Come in."
S: "Thanks."
Sonny took off his coat and threw it over the chair.
S: "Did I come at a bad time?"
FG: "Would it matter?"
Sonny smiled faintly as he sat.
FG: "So what crisis do I owe this wonderful visit to?"
S: "Take your pick."
FG: "Ok how about we start with the thing that bothers you the most?"
Sonny looked down and was silent.
FG: "Sonny?"
He looked up and ran his hands down his face.
S: "You remember when I came to you a while back and Brenda thought she was pregnant?"
Gallo squinted and then slowly nodded, remembering.
FG: "Right..and you were upset because you weren't ready."
Sonny nodded.
S: "I acted like an asshole."
FG: "That too."
Sonny looked at him.
S: "IT's funny now..I look back on that day and I say to myself, "how could I not be ready, when it feels like it's something I've always wanted."
Father Gallo looked at him, sympathetic.
FG: "This has to do with Brenda losing the baby, doesn't it."
Sonny nodded and the looked around the room.
S: "Wow, you do catch on quick." He sighed. "I'm trying to be strong for the both of us, you know? I mean now isn't the time to fall apart, with Brenda's recovery and all. You know her and the girls are going to open a record company...and I think the reason Brenda wants it so bad..is because she just wants to drown herself in a bunch of things to try and I don't know..not thing about it?"
FG: "It bothers you?"
S: "I'm financing the company."
FG: "I guess not.."
S: "I'm just worried she's gonna break down or something. She puts up a strong front and all but, Gallo I can see all the pain in her eyes."
FG: "You want to know what I think?"
Sonny nodded.
FG: "If you want to talk to Brenda about what lost, have her help you, then do it..but if she doesn't come to you, let her heal on her own. The same way you might want to. Everyone heals differently Sonny. Some people like to talk about, some try to forget, others work themselves. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped."
S: "I'm just worried about her."
FG: "I know..we all are. The best any of us could do is just watch she doesn't over do it you know? She's been through alot and she's fighting everyday..it'll take a toll on her if she's not careful."
Sonny sighed.
S: "I guess your right."
FG: "Of course I am otherwise you wouldn't keep coming here." He winked. "You said there was a few things on your mind."
S: "Brenda's so set on this company now, I'm worried she's not going to take her recovery seriously. I mean we came here set to concentrate on her walking again, it was her biggest goal...and now I'm not so sure..I think she'll be more wrapped up in launching this company then walking again."
Father Gallo took a minute to think.
FG: "You can't allow her to just give up on that. Look at all she has accomplished, she can't just let that go to waste for a record company."
S: "I know that GALLO...but Brenda?" Shakes his head. "She's determined it's impossible for her ever to sing again and why because she can't perform." He looked at Gallo. "Let me tell you something..I'm not an optimistic person, but the doctor said, She could probably walk again..he's seen it before. He doubted performing but then he said It was up to her...if she wanted it bad enough then she could do it. I'm trying so hard for her to see that there is hope for her...but she's so fucking stubborn!"
FG: "Eh..I know I just didn't hear that word!"
Sonny rolled his eyes and chuckled.
FG: "LIsten, whatever Progress Brenda, makes in this recovery process isn't going to be enough for her..she's gonna keep wanting more and more and she'll work for it..She's just gotta get a push."
S: "See I push her...I don't think it's what she needs anymore.."
FG: "Then maybe she's gotta do things at her own speed."
S: "What if her own speed is to slow? What if she keeps prolonging it and prolonging it because she has not faith in it."
FG: "Honestly? I don't think it'll come to that..Give it a chance Sonny...give her a chance to make the effort, and if she doesn't then step in. Right now give it space, don't press it so much...in a few days, she's still like this, then You take her to therapy. FORCE Her."
Sonny looked at him a moment without saying a word then he nodded.
S: "Maybe your right."
FG: "You doubt it?"
Sonny laughed.
S: "No.."
FG: "I missed ya kid."
S :"Yeah me too.." He nodded towards him. "How you feeling? You ok?"
FG: "But of course." He smiled. "It's been crazy here though, the Arch Of Diosis keeps coming here for inspections."
Sonny's eyebrows furrowed.
S: "How come?"
FG: "Who knows...they said they're doing it to all the Catholic Schools in the tri-state area."
Sonny stood and looked at the clock.
S: "Hope everything works out."
FG: "I'm sure it will."
S: "Well I better go..it's getting late."
Gallo nodded and stood.
FG: "IF you need to talk.."
S: "Oh I know where you are by now." He grinned as he shrugged his coat on and then turned to Gallo.
S: "Honestly Gallo...I'm not so sure I'd survive half the shit in my life without you."
FG: "I'm just glad to help you."
Sonny patted his shoulder.
S: "I'll see you around."
FG: "I know." He smiled and opened the door for Sonny.
S: "See ya."
Gallo nodded and watched him leave, he closed the door and sighed.
FG: "Time for Bed."
Louie placed 7 shot glasses in a straight line and he porued vodka across them, filling them. Lisa jumped off the bar and started opening beer bottles. Louie looked at her and inhaled sharply when, she threw her head back, her wet hair flowing backward. She grinned and handed the customer a beer. They clinked glasses and both downed the beer. Louie looked up and saw Sara, staring at Ned who was rotating his hips doing the wave.
Sa: "What's going on?"
Lou: "We were short-handed tonight..." He looked at Johnny "So this is why you couldn't help us? Date?"
Johnny just looked at him and Louie laughed.
Lou: "HEy it's ok man.."
Sa: "If you needed help so bad, why didn't you call me?"
Lisa turned and leaned over the Bar.
Li: "We wanted to entertain customers, not scare them away."
She turned and then Jumped onto the bar again.
Sara glared at her.
Sa: "Still married to the witch?"
Louie looked up at Lisa.
Lou: "You better believe it." He grinned as he watched her. Ned handed her the mic and jumped down to help them serve the liquor. The crowd cheered as the music started to sound. Lisa walked over to where Sara, Johnny and Louie were and she smiled at Sara, sarcastically.
Li: "This one's for you." She moved to the center of the bar and began to sing.

She walked towards them, placing one leg over them and then she looked down at them between her legs and pushed Sara back. Singing to her.

LIsa stood up and kicked Sara's glass, While Carly walked back and forth drowning the bar in liquor. Lisa leaned down next to Sara and slid a match across the bar and threw it onto the liquor. The bare went up in Flames and Lisa Jumped down into them right infront of Sara.

Li: "And I've got every right to be...Stay away from my husband, or you'll be sorry you ever decided to show your face again."
Sara inched towards her.
Sa: "Is that a threat."
Li: "Take it however you wish.." She turned to Johnny "I feel sorry for you."
She stood and jumped off the bar.
Sa; "That fucking bitch.."
Johnny stared after her and then turned to Sara.
Jo: "SO you gonna listen?"
Sara turned to Johnny, rolling her eyes.
Sa; "What do you think?"
Jo: "Just checking.." He polished off the rest of his drink as Sara stared at Lisa, plotting.
Brenda was laying down on the bed, she had a folder and a steno pad infront of her. She kept jotting ideas down for the new company..
B: "Nick! I have to call Nick." She picked up the phone and dialed a number. After a few rings Nick picked up the phone.
N: "Hello?"
B: "Hey."
N: "Bren? How you feeling?"
B: "FINE...Did you find anyone to back you guys yet?"
N: "Nope."
B: "What if I told you I did?"
N:"Who?"
B: "Me." She grinned.
N: "What?"
B: "Me, Lois and Carly are opening our own record company, and we want to take you guys on."
Nick laughed.
N: "Your serious."
B: "YEah.."
N: "Guys..come here.."
Je: "What?"
N: "Brenda got us a record deal.."
B: "Well we'll work the deal out later..." She squealed as she listened to him.
N: "Her and Lois and Carly are opening a record company."
Dr: "Get the fuck out of here."Brenda laughed/
B: "Say yes!"
Ju: "SO when do we negotiate."
B: "Does that mean you guys will let us back you?"
Nick smiled.
N: "GUess so."
B: "AH! This is so great!"
She was grinning from ear to ear when Sonny walked into the bedroom.
Je: "What company are we signing with?"
N: "Whats the name?"
B: "Well we can't decide."
N: "Let us know when because we're going to make press conference."
B: "I gotta tell the girls."
N: "First you have to set everything up, we'll be waiting."
B: (She sighed) "Your the best you know that?"
N: "So they tell me?"
Brenda looked down, she hadn't noticed Sonny until he shut the door.
B: "Aright Nick, I have to go...Thank the guys for me."
N: "I can't believe this...You went from my partner, to my friend, then girlfriend..to fiance..and now manager."
Brenda laughed.
B: "Maybe next I'll be your surrogate mother to your child."
They laughed.
N: "GOODBYE Brenda.."
B: "Ciao babe."
She hung up and looked at Sonny smiling.
S: "What're you so happy bout?" He smiled.
B: "Nick and the guys are gonna sign with us.."
S: "That's great baby, congradulations." He pulled his pajama pants on and pulled his shirt over his head.
B: "Yeah..." Sighed "I just wish we could decide a name, so everything can start. Monday the girls are going to come by and we're gonna pick the name and then we have to decide where we're gonna set up our studio!"
Sonny climbed into bed and kissed her cheek.
S: "It's good to see a smile on your face."
She looked at him and smiled slightly.
B: "I'm excited." He nodded. "SO where'd you go?"
S: "Payed Gallo a visit." He made himself comfortable.
B: "Something wrong?"
S: "No why?"
B: "Well you go to Gallo when you need to talk to someone." She looked down. "How come you didn't come to me?"
There was a knock on their door.
S: "Come in.."
Adela opened the door carrying a laundry basket.
A: "Sorry to interupt..but heres your laundry."
S: "Thanks ma."
B: "Thanks Adela..next time tell me, I'll help you."
A: "It's nothing..Goodnight kids."
S: "Night.." She walked out, closing the door behind her.

B: "Sonny?"
S: "IT was nothing Brenda..just went to visit." He kissed her softly. "I'm tired." He layed his head down. "G'night.."

She leaned over and turned the light off. She pulled the covers over her and stared up at the ceiling, then turned and watched Sonny for a moment. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Louied handed Ned and evelope.
Lou: "Thanks man...if the family ever disowns you or throws you out of ELQ..you got a job."
Ned laughed.
N: "Good to know."
Lois grinned as she laced her arm in his.

Lisa turned as she counted a wad of money. She looked up and smiled.
Li: "He's can shake better than me.."
Louie looked at her.
LoU: "I don't think so.."
She looked at him and bit her lip, grinning.
Lois looked between the two of them and then rolled her eyes.
Lo: "Come on Nedley...before this place ignites."
Ned laughed as Lois kissed Louie.
Lo: "See ya Lee.. Carls..Call me tomorrow. Ciao Jase."
Jason waved and Carly nodded as she counted her cash.
Louie turned after they walked out and started putting bottles away.

Ca: "Lois wants Ned to record an album with the Idle Rich, when we start the company. She's gonna change his name To "Eddie Maine" and have him break into leather." She grinned and the guys looked eachother laughed.
Lou: "The old mans gonna have a fucking heart attack."

Ca: "She's gonna spring her plans on him tonight."

She turned around and started counting again.

Sonny's eyes fluttered open, slowly they registered and he moaned when he saw Brenda looking at him.
S: "Morning.."
She ran her fingers through his hair as she sat up.
B: "Sleep ok?"
He wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned up.
S: "Mmhmmm."
She closed the space between them and kissed his lips softly. He sucked lightly on her lower lip and she smiled as they pulled apart. She looked at him with a straight face as she combed her fingers through his hair.
B: "We need to talk.."
S: "Uh oh.."
She shook her head.
B: "I know you better than you know yourself...when you came home last night..you didn't come home from a visit."
He sighed and rolled off of her.
S: "We're back to that again?"
B: "Why don't you just tell me the truth?" She said softly. "Did you go to him about us? Is reality finally sinking in?"
He turned to her.
S: "Brenda stop it! I told you nothing is gonna make me walk away from you..and thats the reality of this whole situation."
B: "Just tell me what you needed to talk to him about that you couldn't talk to me?"
S: "You don't drop anything do you?
B: "Not when it's important...What's the big deal, Sonny? Just spit it out."
S: "I don't know you tell me...I need a reason to go see a man I consider to be like a father to me?"

Brendas eyes became a shield of ice and she stared at him.
B: "Get out."
He laughed sarcastically.
S: "You wanted to know what was wrong.." He shook his head. "Nice Brenda...real nice."
She glared at him.
B: "I said Get Out!"
S: "Too fucking bad..Jesus Christ Brenda, what happened to we'll grieve together?"
She looked away.
B: "I don't want to discuss this anymore."
S: "Why not?"

B: "BECAUSE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE WAY I MOURN MY BABY...well you know what thats too fucking bad Sonny."She stared at him. "Maybe I don't feel like talking about what I lost...how I feel..or try to reason WHY this happened...Maybe I like things my way."
S: "What way would that be? Throwing yourself into things to forget? Or maybe to take your mind off of it...Explain to me how a hundred things going on at once, is going to help you? Truth is you can take 50 company's, Physical therapy...Singing...you name it..it won't change the fact that we lost apart of us..."
B: "Well you know what? I'm willing to take my chances." She closed her eyes and then slowly opened them to look at him. "Sonny I don't mind helping you...if you talk about it I will listen.." She became choked up. "BUt please do not ask me to do the same..I can't. I guess I'm not that strong after all. I know that if I let out everything inside me that I'm feeling...I'll never be the same." She quickly wiped away the few tears that she had shed. "Life goes on right?...I just have to find away to carry on...and I can't do that if I constantly am alone with my thoughts and emotions."
S: "Your pushing me away.."
She shook her head.
B: "I don't mean to..I really don't." She looked down and cried. "Sonny I can't...I just I can't deal with the pain." She shook her head and looked at him. "That's why I gotta do this...I have to have work..I have to go on and just not think about it...because I'll fall apart."
S: "Brenda...don't you know it's not healthy what your doing...you can put it off for the rest of your life..but it'll eat you alive...the grief...the sorrow...the loss."
B: "I'm willing to take that chance..." She shook her head. "It's different for you and I....I mean we both lost a child but I carried that baby with me..." She looked at him. "You might have an empty feeling in your heart....picture that feeling throughout your body...It'll consume you and I can't let that happen."
He looked down and spoke softly.
S: "Don't you know I'd do anything for you? That if you were falling apart I'd do everything I could to put you back in one piece...I wouldn't let it be the end of you. I could be your rock...your shoulder, your light in the dark..I won't let you go through it alone but you can't just continue like this.."
B: "ANd who's gonna be your rock when your putting me back together." She shook her head and swallowed. "I love you, but this is something that as much as I want for you to help me...I know I can't let you..You won't have a chance to be my rock...because I'll take you down along with me..that's how much it hurts." She covered her face with her hands and there was a deep mournful silence.
S: "Brenda?"
B: "I should've been the one." She sobbed. "Why was I left here to grieve? I'm suppose to die before my baby...WHY!?!?!" She threw her head back and sobbed. Sonny moved closer to her and took her in his arms
S: "I'm sorry.." She held onto him and he cried along with her.
B: "I'd sell my soul to the devil himself to keep my baby alive..OH God..." She pulled back from him and wiped her face. "Never in my wildest dreams did think I'd be left here, alone."
S: "Your not alone Brenda. You still have me...we still have eachother." He said through his tears.."And you know it doesn't have to be like he's gone..I mean he can still live on in our hearts...never has to leave there."
Her lower lip quivered as he spoke, tears streaming down her cheeks.
B: "It's impossible for that baby ever to leave my heart.." She looked down and looked like a little girl sobbing. "When I close my eyes and I can almost see how perfect she would've been...how absolutely amazing she would be.." She shook her head as the tears fell but she didn't sob. It was as thought she was picturing it. "Curly brown hair..big brown eyes.." She whispered and smiled slightly as she cried. "Dimples that everytime she smiled, would appear and warm your heart. Perfect little hands, tiny little feet.." Sonny listened to her as he cried imagining the image of their child. She swallowed. "She would be beautiful.."She wiped her cheeks. "And she would be happy...she'd be such a happy baby." Her words were just whispers. "She'd giggle and smile all the time...it would be contagious." She turned to Sonny. "She'd be the highlight of our life together...I know she would've completed us." She looked down and cradled her arms as though she was holding a baby. "And would've never left my arms.." She straightened her empty arms and looked at Sonny. "Do you see why...I can't grieve the way you want me to? I'll die Sonny...there's no way I can handle this day after day...so please let me do it my way...please?"
He looked down and nodded, wiping his eyes.
B: (Whispered) "Thank you..."
He looked up at her and sniffled.
S: "I won't mention it again."
They were silent for a moment until Brenda looked at him and whispered.
B: "Sonny?..One day it'll be ok won't it? One day this won't be so hard right? I mean it's not always going to be this painful will it?"
He just looked at her and shook his head.
S: "Honestly...I don't know..it feels like it'll never go away no matter how hard we try..but I do hope so."
She took his hand in hers.
B: "Can we just hold eachother for awhile?"
He looked at their hands and then into her eyes and nodded.
S: "Yeah.."
He layed back and took her in his arms. She layed in the crook of his arm, Her head against his chest, their hands joined. The tears rolled down her cheeks and Sonny stared ahead, trying to gain control of all his emotions.
Louie rolled over, he opened one eye and saw Lisa's side of the bed, empty. He groaned and turned over on his back, yawning as he did so. He looked around the room and didn't see her. He looked down at himself, the sheet barely covered him from the waist down. He lifted his head a bit and then let it fall back against the pillow. He heard the door open and he mumbled.
Lou: "Lee?"
She looked at him and grinned, she was carrying a tray of food. She placed it down gently on the desk and tip-toed to the bed. Louie's eyes shot wide opened when he felt her jump ontop of him.
Li: "Morning.." She smiled and he looked up at her while she ran her fingers over his chest.
Lou: (groggily) "Where'd you go?"
She leaned down and spread kisses across his jawline to his ear.
Li: "I thought you might be hungry..."
He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her.
Lou: "I am.."
She grinned as she tugged on his earlobe with her teeth.
Li: "Good..I brought up enough eggs--"
Lou: "Who the fuck wants eggs.."
She laughed and pulled back looking at him. She watched his eyes open and stare into hers.
Li: "What do you want huh?"
Lou: "Give you one guess.." He grinned and winked at her.
She leaned down, her forehead touching his.
Li: "Louie.."
Lou: "Hmmm.."
Her forefinger caressed his cheek and he opened his eyes.
Li: "Let me take you on that date tomorrow night?"
Lou: "I almost forgot about that.."
Li: "Well?"
Lou: "I can't wait." She smiled. "Now..." He pushed her off him and pinned her arms over her head as he leaned over her. She grinned mischievously. "I want my breakfast.."
He leaned down and his lips crashed onto hers. She giggled against his lips and wrapped her legs around his waist. The phone started ringing and she pulled back.
Lou: "Let it ring.." He pressed his lips to hers again and she moaned into the kiss as the phone continued to ring.
Lois shut her flip phone and ran up the stairs.
Lo: "What the fuck good is having a brother.." She started to bang on the door. Louie pulled back.
LoU: "JESUS CHRIST!"
Lo: "I KNOW YOUR IN THERE LOUIE OPEN THE DOOR!"
He hung his head back.
Lou: "What the fuck good is having a sister!'
Lisa grinned and leaned over the edge of the bed and picked up his boxers.
Li: "Here ya go.."
He looked at her.
Lou: "I'm gonna open the door to her in my boxers?"
Li: "Fine you want to put your pants on?" He grabbed the boxers from her and pulled them on. She sat up on the bed, indian style and watched him walk to the door. He pulled it open.
Lou: "You know not only are you a pain in the ass but you have the worst timing!"
Lo: "Do you think I give a shit about you getting laid?" She rolled her eyes and walked in. "Hey Lee.."
Lisa smiled and waved. Lois turned to Louie.
Lou: "What is it this time? Tell mom and dad that I'm having a baby...WHICH IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE!"
Lo: "No Asshole, I need your help with Ned."
Lou: "Oh come on...go away!"
Lo: "Hey..." She picked up a piece of toast from the tray and bit into it. "Now listen to me..He's a heartbeat away from signing a contract with the record company."
Lou: "Wouldn't it help if you guys decided on a name before you actually made CONTRACTS?"
Lo: "Do you want this coffee?" She shrugged and sipped it. "Anyway...the big issue is his family."
Louie groaned and threw himself in the recliner.
Lou: "Lois..what the fuck do you want from me?"
Lo: "Well you know how Ned is...he's a.."
Lou: "Sissy?"
Lo: "Well yeah when it comes to his family...Help me help them see how NED Being a ROCK STAR is a good thing.."
Lisa covered her mouth and looked at her husband.
Lou: "Right..ok...GET OUT!"
Lo: "COME ON!"
Lou:" HOw the fuck am I suppose to do that?"
Lo: "Well I was thinking If you sleep with his mother--"
Li: "WAIT A second...Sleep with Ned's mother?"
Lo: "Well I'll work On Lila...you get Tracy and maybe Lisa you can give the old man a thrill."
Louie stood and took his sister's hand.
Lou: "Goodbye Lois.."
Lo: "LOUIE! Well Look maybe it's not the best idea...but I am open for suggestions."
Louie pushed Lois into the hallway.
Lou: "I'm really sorry your in a jam Lois...but look over my shoulder..Look at my wife..In 5 minutes she's gonna be naked and I'm going to be a HAPPY HAPPY MAN...do you really think I'm about to think about Ned and his fucked up family?"
She snarled...
Lo: "Oh I am getting a visual here...and I REALLY DONT WANT TO BE.."
Lou: "I'll call you later.. now GOODBYE!"
Lo: "I'm going...I'm going.." She rolled her eyes as he shut the door. He turned and looked at Lisa.
Lou: "Where were we?"
She laughed.
Li: "Won't you be late for Ned's mother.." He stood infront of her.
Lou: "Fuck Ned's mother." He pushed her down onto the bed and she laughed as he moved ontop of her. He pressed his lips to her neck and began to trail his hot mouth down the nape of it. She sighed and looked up at the ceiling as he pleasured her.
LI: "Mmm.." She closed her eyes and after a few moments, he was unbuttoning her blouse. "Why don't you move in here?" He lifted his head and looked at her.
Lou: "What?"
Had that really come from my mouth? She wondered.
Li: "Well your here all the time anyway because of Taggert and his survelance...not to mention our needs." She winked. "It would just make sense for your clothes to be here."
He moved the hair out of her face.
Lou: "IT would be kind of tight..."
Lisa looked up at him.
Li: "So?"
Lou: "Well...what if we got a bigger place."
Li: "Like an apartment together?"
Lou: "Yeah.." He looked down at her."
Li: "Well what happens when Taggert gets a clue and this whole aliby thing is over.."
Lou: "What're you saying?"
Li: "There won't be a reason for us to stay married..so where would I go..by then Tammy would probably have the room rented."
Lou: "I know the reasons I want to stay married to you, but what are the reasons your staying married to me? Is it just for the aliby?"
Li: "I don't want it to be just for the aliby...so I'm hoping they'll more than that keeping us together.."
Lou: "Baby there already is.."
Li: "I mean besides Sex."
Lou: "So do I.." He tilted his head and ran his fingers through her hair.
Li: "Yeah?"
He nodded.
Li: "You think we'll still be together."
Lou: "I don't think I ever want to be apart from you.."
She smiled slightly.
Li: "Me neither." He grinned.
Lou: "So what do you say? Should we get our own apartment?"
Li: "Let's do it."
He leaned down and kissed her softly.
Lou: "Yeah let's..." She moaned as his lips crashed hard against hers.
Johnny walked into Kelly's and ran into Lois.
Lo: "Knobs what're you doing here?"
Jo: "Grabbing a cup of coffee you?"
Lo: "I'm on m way to Jason's..I'm desperate."
Jo: "What's up.."
Lois rolled her eyes.
Lo: "The Quartermaines...Since my darling brother refuses to help me help them see the light...Jason is next on my list."
Jo: "Well good luck."
Lo: "Thanks..I'll see ya later."
He nodded and she walked out of the diner. Johnny sighed and walked over to the counter.
Tam: "What can I get you?"
Jo: "Large coffee, regular to go.."
Tam: "Coming right up."
Johnny turned around and looked around the diner. He spotted Sara sitting alone, she was staring down at her coffee, appeared to be in deep thought. He debated whether or not to even bother, and then before he knew it he was walking towards her. He sat down infront of her.
Jo: "Whos' life are you planning on ruining? Besides yours."
She looked up at him.
Sa: "Yours."
Jo: "Have fun.."
Sa; "Did I give you permission to sit here?"
Jo: "No."
Sa: "What do you want?"
Jo: "Just wanted to see if you came to your senses.."
Sa: "Listen you made it clear lastnight you didn't want to help me..fine..now mind your business and leave me alone."
He nodded.
Jo: "Sure...I guess if I really wanted to..I could do that."
She rolled her eyes and sighed.
Jo: "I want to help you...but not the way you want me too."
Sa: "So then get lost..your wasting my time."
Jo: "Forget about your plan and focus on something else.."
Sa: "Have you taken a good look? Theres not much to focus on Johnny."
Jo: "Come on now..I doubt that."
Sa: "Look I appreciate you trying to help...but it's not gonna work. I'm determined and nothing is gonna stand in my way."
Jo: "You think you have it all planned don't you?"
Sa: "I do have it all planned.."
Jo: "Tell me..did you plan for unexpected surprises along the way?"
Sa: "I don't remember it being any of your business.."
Tam: "Hey guy...here's your coffee." Johnny turned and looked at Tammy, then back at Sara.
Jo: "Shoulda planned for the unexpected."
He stood up and walked to the counter leaving Sara to stare after him.
