Carly fidgeted as she walked along side her husband. He turned and looked at her.
Ja: "Carls, calm down.." He placed his hands on her shoulders and smiled. She threw him a look.
Ca: "Calm down? I'm about to make a fool out of myself!"
Ja: "Your gonna go in there and you gonna be perfect.. It's just like when your Carly Babes."
Ca: "No It's not Jason! When I'm Carly Babes, I don't have to memorize a script...I come up with all those SICK line myself..."
Ja: "Look Louie invested a lot of cash in this."
Ca: "Try this one on for size...I DONT CARE! I wanna go home.." She turned around but Jason grabbed hold of her arm.
Ja: "I don't want to live to see the day my wife backs out of a challenge...I'm not about to put a bullet to my head Carly..now get your ass in there."
She glared at him.
Ca: "Just for the record I want a DIVORCE!"
Ja: "If you don't quit it I'll call A.J."
She gasped.
Ca: "You wouldn't.."
Ja: "Just think maybe this time he'll ask you to have his kid." She sighed and looked at him.
Ca; "Fine you win.. but you know WHY are they HIRING a new girl to play opposite the most popular character on the show! I've looked into this Jason, Sammy Corvinos is like the whole show! His portrayer is a powerhouse and then theres me...Carly Roberts Morgan--The only Power I've carried is a gun."
Ja: "And you thought you couldn't offer anything to the show..,This Sammy guy is a mobster..Maybe you can teach the writers a thing or two." He pushed her gently into the stage room. Carly gasped when she saw the Casting Director, the Producer and the man who played Sammy Covinos, Michael Benard. The producer looked up at them.
P: "You must Be Carly Roberts.. I'm Wendy Riche."
Ca: "Great I've heard such..THINGS about you.."
Wendy looked at her perplexed and then looked at the man next to her.
W: "Carly this is our head writer Bob Guza."
Ca: "Another one..I've heard things about.."
Bo: "All good I hope?"
Ca: (mumbles) "Oh you wish.."
W: "And this is who you'll be having many scenes with, Michael Benard." Michael held his hand out to her,
M: "Nice to meet you."
Ca: "Yeah. I hear your the only reason this show is still standing."
Jason closed his eyes as Michael chuckled.
W: "And this our Executive producer Richard Meyers."
Carly and Jason's heads both shot up to scrutinize they're target.
R: "Shall we begin our test run Ms. Roberts?"
Ca: "Uh..sure.."
Bob handed her a script and she looked at Jason.
Ja: "Remember, Carly Babes.."
She smiled sweetly.
Ca: "Remember...divorce."
Ja: "A.J--"
Ca: "OK I'm ready!"
She walked towards the set where Michael stood. He was leaning against a bar scoping out the crowd, that would be there if the camera's were rolling. Carly looked at her script and then did as it told. She pushed the door open abrupt and walked into the bar without gracing anyone with a look. She walked to the bar and took a seat. Michael's gaze followed her, watching as she ordered her drink. Carly slammed her hand down on the bar and looked up at where the bartender would be.
Ca: "Who's a Girl Gotta Sleep with to get a shot around here?"
Michael raised one eyebrow as he turned to look straight ahead.
M: "Rough day?"
Carly turned and looked at him lile "Who the fuck are you"
Ca: "Are you talking to me?"
Michael looked at her, slightly turning his head.
M: "Yeah I guess I am.."
Ca: "Look I don't care how lonely you are or how drunk you think I am, but don't talk to me...Asking me if I had a Rough Day...You Don't know me, and you couldn't give a damn how rough my day was..so next time you try to pick up a woman.." She leaned closer to him and peered at him. "You might want to buy a book on pick up lines.'' She grabbed her drink and stood, walking away from him.
Ric: "CUT!" Jason looked at him as did Carly.
Ca: "Well?"
We: "I think this is just what our show needs.."
Ca: "Yeah well I heard your show needs a miracle..and I'm far from that."
Michael looked at her.
Mi: "You'll do just fine.."
She looked at him and then rolled her eyes before turning to Bob who handed her a thick script.
Bo: "We'll see you Monday at 7 a.m. sharp."
Ca: "Yeah." Richard looked at her. She looked at Jason. "Ready?"
Jason nodded and followed her out of the studio. Carly turned to him.
Ca: "Ok So honestly! How was I?"
Jason smiled.
Ja: "You played the role before you even had the script in your hand!"
She grinned.
Ca: "You know getting the goods on this Meyer's guy might have been a blessing in disguise...can you just see it.. Carly Roberts, hit Woman, BarMaid, and Actress..has a nice touch to it doesn't it?"
He smiled as he shook his head. She sighed exasperated as she grinned.
Ca: "Come on...admit it..having an actress for a wife wouldn't be so bad.."
He wrapped his arms around her waist.
Ja: "It's not that bad now.." He kissed her cheek. "C'mon Bonnie..I'll take you to lunch to celebrate the new Star.." He rolled his eyes and she elbowed him as he laughed.
Louie looked at Sara as she sat down at a table in Kelly's.
Lou: "Now you know what to do right?"
Sa: "Yeah yeah..tell her how much I hate you guys, buddy up to her-- let me ask you a question. What the hell do I get out of this?"
Lou: "If your good I'll buy you a cookie."
Sa: "Now Now..I think I May habe lost 1/8th of a pound!"
Louie smiled slightly at her and she looked at him.
Sa: "Hey.."
Lou: "What?"
Sa: "Why'd you come to me to do this?"
He sighed and looked as he looked at her and then sat down beside her. He looked at her intensely.
Lou: "You're a bitch, and I should hate you, but I don't."
Sa: "Gee how comforting."
Lou: "Would you let me finish." He sighed. ''Despite everything that's gone down between you and I, I trust you when it comes to things like this."
Sa: (raises an eyebrow) "YOU trust ME?"
He smiled.
Lou: "Yeah because I know you wouldn't let anyone hurt me or the gang...you'd want to do it yourself.."(Smiles) "You just don't have the guts.."
Sa: "Are you challenging me?"
Lou: "No.." He looked at her. "Thanks fo doing this.."
Sa: "I suppose your welcome--" She looked up and saw Connie walk through the door, her eyes widened and she looked at Louie, she whispered under her breath. "Don't turn around." She stood up and looked down at him. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!...I told You I don't want anything to do with you...so why don't you go back to your little wife, and play Mike Brady.."
Louie slowly stood up.
Lou: "I'm warning you Sara.."
Sa: "Oh warn this.." She gave him the finger and watched him walk towards the counter. She shook her head as Connie walked over to her.
Co: "You ok Sara?"
Sa: "Fine"
Connie looked at Louie in disgust and then back at Sara.
Co: "They're all the same aren't they?"
Sa: "You mean him and his little sandbox crew?" She nodded.
Co: "They think they rule this town..The men aren't even the worst, it's the woman of the group."
They start to sit.
Sa: "Your telling me." Points to Louie. "I don't know who's worse, his sisters or his wife!"
Co: "Nah, I'll tell you who's the worse..that Bitch Brenda."
Sara raised an eyebrow as she watched Connie's face change. Louie looked at then from the counter before turning his attention to Jackson, watching him walk into the diner, over towards him.
J: "Hey.."
Lou: "What's up?"
J: "Well you know being that I moved here and everything..where the hell is new found practice of mine?"
Lou: "Jackson my boy, paizan...calm down. Your office is in GH." JAckson ran his hands over his face.
Lou: "Are you ok?"
He pulled his hands back and looked at Louie.
J: "No I'm not ok. My life has completely gone haywire and it's all your fault!"
Lou: "Now now..it's not nice to blame people."
J: "Yeah well it's also not nice to fuck with people's lives, for no good reason."
Lou: "My sister is not good enough reason."
J: "Louie what your sister is, is a lost cause."
Lou: "Maybe to be me but not to you. I did not invest in a fucking hospital to get a lifetime supply of antibiotics..now Jackson your're gonna make Frannie see the light."
J: "Look as much as I..I..uh-"
Lou; "Want Frannie.."
J: "NO!"
Lou: "What do you mean no? What's wrong with my sister?"
Jackson closed his eyes frustrated and then quickly opened them.
J: (Sigh)"Nothing is wrong with Frannie..nothing at all except for the fact this asshole has a lease around her..and Yeah maybe I do want to see her again..But I'm not about to--"
Lou: "Look I like you Jackson, your a good guy...I like you enough for my sister and that says alot. Now she's been hurt by Richie, he doesn't even see his daughter..I'm not gonna watch her get hurt by John either. She doesn't listen to me."
J: "Well she ain't listening to me!"
Lou: "So what your saying I should just take him out--"
J: "No! Jesus Christ, what the hell did I get myself into!"
He said as he smacked his hand against his forehead.
J: "You got this whole rescue mission planned, meanwhile She ain't budging an inch!"
Lou: "MAKE HER!"
J: "And how the hell am I suppose to do that."
Lou: "For God sakes Jackson YOU CAN TAKE CRIPPLED PEOPLE AND MAKE THEM WINNERS AT THE OLYPICS--"
J: "I'm good but I'm not that good--"
Lou: "My point is, everytime you've been told it can't be done, you found a way to do it..I'm asking you to do the same with Frannie. No one said it's gonna be easy, shes a tough woman and she's stubborn..but out of everyone you can make her see the error of her ways."
Jackson just looked at him, as the doors opened and Frannie walked in with Lois and Briana. Frannie stopped in her tracks when she saw Jackson with Louie.
Lo: "Are you coming Frannie? I'm starving! What--Oh Louie, Jackson hey."
Jackson waved slightly and Louie smiled at his sister.
Lou: "Hey hon, Frannie."
Frannie and Jackson's eyes met for a quick second before she turned to Louie and glared at him.
Lou: "Whoa..I don't feel the love."
Frannie walked towards him carrying Briana who was babbling "MAMA" over and over.
Fr: "Isn't this cozy..." She turned to Jackson. "I thought I told you to stay out of my life..that includes not talking to my brother!"
Lou: "UH Frannie..I chose who I want to talk too."
J: "Don't mind your sister, she thinks we have thisBIG conspiracy thing going on." He rolled his eyes and looked at Frannie. "Word of advice honey, don't suspect me, and worry about what I do...instead be cautious who you trust."
Fr: "You don't even know John!" She spat.
J: "Your right..but your sister-in-law, and your brother do, now no one speaks highly of him, except you. Makes you wonder, what he's got over you."
Fr: "He ain't got a thing over me!"
Jackson chuckled.
Ja: "It's really unbecoming when a woman tries to birth a second childhood."
She raised her hand to slap his cheek but her grabbed her wrist and stared at her.
Ja: "I don't think so..save your strength for when you see the light." He stood up still holding her wrist. He stared into her eyes as she did him, her glare softened but her mouth still remained taut. He ran his free hand over her cheek. "What a shame..." He stepped closer. "I think we would've been really good together. "He tilted his head and stared at her as she remained silent. "Guess we'll never know.." He looked at Louie. "I'll be seeing you." He let go of Frannie looking at her again before walking past her. Frannie and Louie watched him walk out of Kelly's. Frannie swallowed hard as Louie stared at her, a grin forming on his lips, he turned his gaze to the door.
Lou: "Gotta Love that Jackson.."
Frannie turned to her brother and glared at him.
Brenda was folding clothes and placing them in the open suit case the was ontop of the bed. She finished putting the last of the clothes in the suitcase befor pushing the top down, she threw her body ontop of the suitcase and tried to get the zipper to close. The door opened and Sonny walked in carrying a shopping bag. Brenda looked up, blowing the hair out of her face.
B: "This thing is being- If I can just--"
S: "Honey?"
She looked at him.
B: "Can you come here!"
He dropped the bag and hurried over to her.
S: "What do you need me to do?" He said trying to help. She looked over her shoulder and in one swift move she turned over, sitting on the suitcase.
B: "CLOSE this thing will ya?!"
He laughed and gradually pulled the zipper. She watched him smiling slightly.
B: "Sonny.."
He looked up as he pulled it close. His deep brown eyes smiling at her, a smile graced her lips as she grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer to her.
B: "Thanks for the hand.." She whispered.
S: "Anytime." He said gruffly. He leaned closer, his eyes fixated on her lips, she leaned backward teasing him. She chuckled and as he started to shake his head smiling she pressed her lips to his, hard and firm. His moaned as he indulged in the sweet kiss. She gripped his shirt tighter as her head tilted for more access to his mouth. He gladly opened his mouth as her tongue engulfed him. Slowly they withdrew from the kiss, she smiled as she watched him hesistate to open his eyes.
B: "Hi Honey.."
He looked at he for a moment before chuckling, she wrapped her arms around his neck.
S: "Yeah hi.." He sighed, closing his eyes as he buried his face in her neck.
B: "We're all packed and ready for tomorrow." She whispered.
S: "Oh." He said softly.
B: "I wish we could stay here forever. Just the two of us you know?" She looked down at him and kissed his head softly.
S: "We'll come back for our honeymoon."
She smiled slightly and he pulled back and looked at her.
S: "And we can stay as long as we want.."
B: "Yeah?"
He nodded and then stood up.
S: "C'mon.."
B: "Where?"
S: "It's our last night here and as tempted as I am to spend it in this room with you, I have something planned."
She tilted her head and squinted.
B: "What are you up too?"
He dimpled.
S: "You'll see...now Come on!"
B: "Well wait I have to get dressed." He looked her over, she was wearing black jean shorts and a red halter top.
S: "Your fine.." He took her hand in his and yanked her towards the door. She giggled.
B: "Sonny..."
S: (mimicking) "Brenda..."
She laughed and pulled the door closed once they left.
Sara took a sip of her coffee and then looked at Connie.
S: "Brenda?"
Co: "Brenda Barrett..soon to be the wife of Sonny Corinthos."
Sa: "Oh yeah..I've had a couple of encounters with her."
Co: "Yeah well she has got some hold on Sonny.. Do you know he is the reason I came to Port Charles to begin with?"
Sa: "Oh yeah and whys that?"
Co: "HE offered me a job..and at that time he wasn't with Brenda. He was so much easier to talk to and thens he took over and it was like I never even existed. She thinks who the hell she is, I mean for God sakes the woman has to be completely insecure to fire me!"
Sa: "You think she fired you because she saw you as a threat to her and Sonny?"
Co: "I think she's a jealous bitch. I feel bad for Sonny..I mean he got the rough end of the stick."
Sonny was walking behind Brenda his hands over her eyes as they walked through the sand.
B: (Smiling) "Sonny! Come on..let me open my eyes.."
S:(Laughing) "One second, we're almost there..." They walked a little further and then stopped. He removed his hands.
S: "Ok you can look." She opened her eyes smiling, and looked down, their was a blanket layed out over the sand, two champaigne glasses that were being chilled in a big bucket of ice. "I figured we could watch the sunset.." She looked over her shoulder at him and smiled.
B:"It's a perfect way to end a perfect week." She smiled and he leaned forward pressing his lips against hers softly. Once they seperated she sat down pulling him down onto the blanket with her. She took off her sandles while he poured the champaigne in the glasses. He handed her a glass and she looked at him.
S: "To the rest of our lives." She smiled and clinked her glass with his. They sipped the champaigne, and then Sonny spread his legs apart and patted the space between them. She raised an eyebrow and he laughed.
S: "Save that dirty mind for later.."
B: "Mmmhmmm if you say so." She cuddled between his legs and he inhaled sharply..before wrapping his arms tightly around her. She closed her eyes as she leaned against him, a smile on her face. "Think we'll always be this happy.."
S: "I think that we're at a place where we can allow ourselves to be this happy always."
B: "Yeah...Hey you know what I was thinking.."
He burried his face in her hair taking in her sweet scent.
S: "Hmm?"
B: "When we get married and you let me remodel the house--"
S: "What!?"
She grinned.
B: "Hey if you let me remodel the house, I'll let you pick out all the stuff for the kitchen..."
S: "Well Bren...remodel how?"
B: "Well you know, paint..new furniture--"
S: "Listen when I come home from work I dont want to throw myself on Martha Stuarts botanical couch.."
B: "Ok so no flowers...don't you trust me?"
S: "Of Course I do.."
B: "Good because you'll love the way it will come out..I promise."
He groaned and kissed the back of her neck.
B: "I can't wait for all that...and I'm gonna learn to cook.."
S: "Brenda spare me something." She hit his knee.
B: "Hey.. for real I want to be a good wife..I want to give you everything a wife can possibly give her husband, a good home, a semi-decent meal, babies.. everything."
He swallowed and looked over her shoulder at the sun.
S: "I want the same..to be able to give you everything you deserve. A happy home, a safe home, and I'll do the cooking." They smiled.. "And.. and kids."
She looked over her shoulder at him.
B: "Your scared too aren't you?"
S: "About what?"
B: "I know we're gonna be great married..I know we're gonna be one of those you know super couples..but one day the honeymoon is gonna be over and we're gonna want a family." He looked down. "It scared us because we lost a child..sometimes the fear is so great that I wonder if I'll ever be able to overcome it to have another baby."
He kissed her shoulder.
S:" Yeah it's scarey..but we've come along way. We're gonna have it all and when the time is right and we're comfortable we're gonna throw those fears out the window." He smiled at her. "One day your gonna look back on this day and laugh at those words, one day when there is a house full of little Corinthos' running around screaming "Mommy.."
She looked down and smiled through her tears, moments later she leaned back and they stared at the sun.
B: (Whispers) "Little Corinthos'."
S: "Yeah I was thinking..half a dozen or so.."
She grinned.
B: "Yeah if your pushing them out."
He squeezed her tightly as they smiled staring out at the sunset.
Chapter 207.
Sonny and Brenda stepped off the elevator, Johnny behind them. Both men carried to pieces of luggage, and Brenda's arm was laced through Sonny's.
Jo: "So how was Puerto Rico?"
B: "It was pure bliss." She smiled happily and looked at Sonny as her smiled over his shoulder at Johnny.
S: "The weather was great, the food was great--"
B: "The beaches were great--"
S: "And the sex was fantastic." Brenda's eyes widened as she playfully his his arm, he just chuckled. "Well it was.."
B: "Yeah but Johnny doesn't need to--"
Jo: "Thats all fine an dandy but I meant the women? How were the women?"
S: "Well I didn't need to look at other woman." He looked at Brenda and she smiled.
B: "Oh and why's that?"
S: "Cause. I had the best woman in my arms."
Johnny stuck his finger in his mouth as though he was about to barf.
Jo: "Listen boss, your probably gonna test out the new sheets that came when you were gone, so would be ok if I left...and spared myself the OH Brenda's?"
Brenda laughed as she nuzzled Sonny's neck and he kicked the door open.
S: "Yeah yeah.. Hot Date with Psycho Sara?"
Jo: "Actually yes..I'm taking her to the Go- Karts."
S: "Go-Karts?Well who needs moonlight and roses?"
B: "Make sure she doesnt kill any little children."
Jo: "Oh no she actually likes kids...it's adults she has a problem with. But I think shes getting better."
S: "In a weird way you two are meant for one another."
He shook his head and watched as Johnny grinned and fixed the lapels on his suit.
Jo: "Say Good Bye to Johnny KNOBS and Hello to Johnny STUD!"
S: "Oh dear God." He sighed and walked into the Penthouse. Brenda laughed at him and patted his shoulder.
B: "And what a stud you are!" She smiled and walked inside closing the door. Johnny grinned.
Jo: "Thats right...STUD MUFFIN!"
John LaFemina looked beside him, watching Frannie sleep peacefully. He ran his hands over his face, slightly shaking his head. He slowly slipt out of bed, pulling on his pajama bottoms. He walked to the door, looking over his shoulder before walking out, to make sure she was sleeping. He closed the door and walked into the den and dialed a number.
J: "Yeah it's me..Look the sister is a dead end."
Man: "What do you mean she's a dead end boss?"
J: "It's not sucha difficult concept to grasp..we're going to go ahead with the other plan.."
Man: "Boss maybe you should give the sister more time to spill...if we go ahead witht he other plan, yeah we'll get what we want but we'll also wind up behind bars!"
J: "Look I'll keep it on with the sister, but you do as your told and you put the other plan into motion."
Man: "Fine.."
John hung up the phone and sighed heavily, a lsight grin formed on his lips as he thought of the outcome of his plan.
Brenda was laying on the couch her feet up, the luggage still sat by the door. Her eyes were closed and smile was planted on her lips as she heard Sonny shuffle out of the kitchen.
S: "You better not be sleeping."
She opened her eyes and looked over her shoulder as he walked over carrying a plate of food for her.She sat up.
B: 'Nope..so whatcha got."
He sat next to her nad leaned forward placing the plate on the table. She scanned the contents of the plate and picked up a hot mozzarella stick, she burnt her finger as she bit into it.
B: "Mmm." She held out the mozzarella stick for him and he bit into. "Honey.."Swallows. "We are going to be very happily married as long as you do the cooking and I..well I'm sure there something I can do just as well as you can cook."
He wiggled his eyebrows.
S: "Oh there is .."
B: (Grins) "Yeah?..like?" She said as she finished the mozzarella stick. He watched as she finished chewing and then he leaned forward and cupped her face.He stared into her eyes and grinned.
S: "Well I've always been a sucker for your kisses."
She grinned as she brushed her lips across his teasingly.
B: "Oh yeah?" She whispers as he tries to kiss her but she pulls back a little.
S: "C'mere.." He said raspy.
B: "Maybe I want to see you beg first.." She grinned.
He looked at her, a look that made Brenda forget about games. He grabbed her face and pulled her to him, his lips basically devoured hers. Her hands held his wrists as he sucked onto her lips, feasted on her mouth. His tongue crept out of his mouth and forced her lips apart, invading her whole mouth. She pulled back slowly, and looked at him, he tried to kiss her again but she gripped his shirt in her fist.
B: "Take your clothes off.."
Sonny looked at her.
S: " I rather take yours off."
She grinned as hips lips moved to her neck as he untied her blouse, and undid the buttons. Her eyes were closed as she tilted her head back. She untucked his shirt and began to rip his shirt apart. He grabbed her face and looked at her.
S: "I want you so bad-" His lips crashed over hers as she leaned back on the couch bringing him on top of her. They continued to indulge in an erotic kiss when their was a knock on the door. Sonny's lips started to trail down Brenda's neck. The knocking persisted and Brenda let out a groan.
S: (Against her skin) "Ignore it.."He slid started to push her shirt off.
A: "Michael? Brenda? Are you guys in there?" She jumped when she heard a loud thump. "oh lord, are you two ok in there?"
Inside Sonny was on the floor with Brenda struggling to get up, and get him from stop kissing her.
B: "Baby.." He grabbed her face and kissed her sweetly. She pushed him back. "Sonny your mother.."
S: "She'll go away.." He went to kiss her again.
B: "Sonny!" Sonny groaned.
A: "Michael? Listen I'm--" The door was pulled open and Sonny looked at his mother, letting out a heavy sigh. His shirt was hanging loosely open and Brenda was getting up buttoning her shirt.
"Oh I'm sorry..I just." She put her hands over her eyes. "I can come back later--"
S: "Oh--"
B: "No.. come in." She walks over to Adela and takes her hands off her eyes, leading her into the penthouse.
A: "I should've called first."
B: "Would you stop.." She smiled. "Sit, can I get you anything?"
Sonny closed the door and leaned against it watching his mother and his fiancee.
A: "No no..I came to see how your trip was."
B: "Oh it was fantastic!" She grinned and sighed happily. "Right honey?"
Sonny smiled, before nodding and walking towards them.
S: "Yep.."
B: "And we had such a good time we've decided to go back on our honeymoon!" She squealed happily.
Adela smiled.
A: "I'm so happy for you two."
Sonny tilted his head and looked at them.
S: "So how'd you know we got back?"
A: "Well I was at Gloria's and Lois told me. She's very anxious to see you, Brenda."
B: "Probably something with the record company."
A: "Well I don't know but my motive was much different."
S: "And why's that ma."
A: "Well I came to tell you tomorrow we will all be at the Grille at 8 o'clock to celebrate, my son and soon too be daughter in law's engagement."
Brenda bit her lip and looked at Sonny, who shook his head smiling.
S: "Tomorrow..you work quick!"
A: "Well someone in this family has too." She looked at him.
S: "Oh come on ma... all that matters now is that I did it..and she said yes."
Adela nodded.
A: "Well I just came to tell you guys..I'm gonna go and let you get back to what, well whatever it was you two were doing." She smiled
B: "Uh..unpacking."
Adela srood and laughed.
A: "Is that what they're calling it these days?" She bent down and kissed her cheek then walked to her son. "Don't stay up to late, you hear? I hired a photographer and everything, I don't think you would like pictures with circles under your eyes." She Kissed his cheek and looked at him. "Be good!" She pointed to him and watched him dimple.
S: "I'm always good, right Bren?"
B: "Well.. you have your moments."
S: "See.."
Adela rolled her eyes and patted his shoulder.
A: "I'll see you tomorrow."

S: "See ya."
She walked out of the door, closing it gently behind her.
Sonny looked back at Brenda, who was smiling.
B: "Can you believe it?"
S: "What?"
B: "That tomorrow's our engagement party...and then it's like really official." She squealed.
He laughed.
S: "It's been official sweetheart." He said as he walked over to the couch and sat beside her.
B: "Yeah I know but.."She looked down and smiled. "still it feels important."
S: "It is." He whispered softly. "So is what we were doing before my dear mother decided to visit.."
Brenda laughed, she wrapped her arms around him pressing her lips to his. She pushed his shirt off his shoulders. He pulled her onto his lap and pushed her shirt off. She ran her fingers through his hair. He reached behind her and unsnaped her bra.
Lois, Ned, Louie, Lisa, Carly and Jason all stepped off the elevatory and headed to Penthouse 4.
Lo: "Where's knobs?"
Lou: "Well maybe they're no back yet."
Li: "There plane landed hours ago." Ned knocked on the door.
N: "Anyone home?"
Ja: "Step aside..with those two you never know...you don't just ask if they're home."
Ca: "For all we know they're rolling around on floor, playing leap frog. No no..watch out." She banged the palm of her hand on the door. "YO CORINTHOS Open Up!"

Carly pushed open the door and Sonny looked up from the floor, sliding his shirt back on while Brenda smoothed back her hair and straightened her shirt.
S: "This better be good Carly."

She threw herseld on the couch and picked up a mozzarella stick as they all walked in.
Lo: "Well it's about time you two got back.. "

Lou: "She woke up one morning and there it was."
Ca: "AHEM! I have an announcement and I've been waiting days to tell you guys."
S: "Tell us what?"
Ca: "I'm going to be on TV!!"
Lo: "And you'd think it would be a hair dye commercial...but NO!"
B: "So then what is it?"
Ca: "You know that Soap "The Wind Beneath The Stars?"
B: "Thats the one with that hot guy Sammy Covinos?"
Ca: " And I'm his leading lady!!!"
B: "Oh my god..you gotta get me to meet him."
S: "Why?"
B: "He's like the best actor on daytime!"
S: "Carls how'd you get the job?"
Ca: "If your implying who did I have to sleep with..No one. See I'm the head honcho in this new plan."
S: "What new plan?"
Lou: "Uh..we'll talk later.."
Sonny looked at him.
B: "Where's Frannie?"
Li: "I don't want to know.."
Lo: "Alright..I want to know what's going on."
S: "Yeah you and me both.. What plan!?"
Lou: "Lois please.."
Lo: "No Louie, you and her don't even speak! Now I kept quiet but what the hell is going on?"
B: "Is Frannie in trouble?"
Ca: "Corinthos you got Champaigne?"
They all looked at her.

Li: "Ok you know John is my ex husband."
B: "That's the one that comes around Dream to see Frannie?"

S: "What's he doing with Frannie."
Lou: "Using her.."
Lo: "What?"
Li: "He came to me and told me that he wanted me to be his partner, he was gonna make a new club and put Lucky Sevens out of business. I turned him down and the next thing I know Frannie's cooking him dinner."
N: "This guy is using her to get to Lucky Sevens?"
Lou: "Tell me something Ned, are all the Quartermaines as smart as you?"
Ca: "Actually he's the pick of the litter."
Li: "Frannie won't listen to us..and I don't expect her too. God, you know how much it irks you when people tell you to stay away from someone, that they're no good for you..it only makes you more attracted."
Lo: "Fine...we gotta get her away from him."
Ja: "Yeah but how if shes no listening to anyone."
Lo: "You know I saw her with the doctor the other day..Louie you were there whats going on with them."
B: "Wait! Jackson's in Port Charles?"

S: "Why?"
Lou: "I have him half a million dollars to set up his own practice."
Ca: "YOU DID WHAT!? Listen when you're in a generous mood hand the money to me not some doctor!"
Lo: "You bribed him?
Lou: "No it wasn't like that. I just felt if he was in Port Charles maybe he could get through to Frannie."
S: "You mean maybe he can get through to her bedroom."
Louie looked down.
Lou: "I mentioned that she was in trouble and he ran here, Now she sumizes that's the reason he came here and it pisses her off."
LI: "But he says it's just an excuse because his sister is moving here or something with her boyfriend."
S: "Wait a minute..his sister? Those kids that came to me looking for a job..they went to St. Edmunds, the blonde, she's his sister?"
Lou: "No but remember they said that they were moving here because their friends got into trouble? Well Jackson's sister is 17 and pregnant."
B: "What does that have to do with Frannie? If this guy is after Lucky Sevens and he's using Frannie we have to stop him."
Lou: "Well you know what? I'm fresh out of ideas."
Lo: "Well we can't just give up Louie. We gotta think of something and we have to think quick because before we know it our sister is gonna be hurt and Stone's club will be shut down."
S: "No one's gonna shut down Lucky Sevens..I won't let them."
Lo: "Somethings even you can't stop from happening. You cant stop two trains from colliding." They became silent.
Frannie snuggled closer to John once he slipped back into bed.
Fr: "Where'd you go?"
Jo: "I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to wake you.." He looked down at her. "You cold?"
Fr: "No.." She ran her finger down his chest and looked up at him. "John.."
Jo: "Hmm?"
Fr: "I was laying here before and I debated on whether or not I should tell you..."
Jo: "Tell me what?" He looked at her hoping she'd say something about the club or her brother.
Fr: "I can't talk to my brother anymore..he just doesn't get it. That I'm an adult and I make my own choices, and I chose you over him. Maybe I'm wrong...maybe I'm crazy but it doesn't matter to me..that I may never be close to my family. I have my daughter and I have you...and it's worth it because when I'm with you, whenever we make love..I feel complete, and like I belong." She smiled and looked up at him. "I'm falling in love with you and nothing is gonna stand in the way of that."
He looked down at her and swallowed hard. After a moment he leaned down and kissed her lips gently. What was he doing?, he asked himself.
Chapter 208.
Adela walked into the Port Charles Grille. They had closed a certain part of the restaurant off for the engagement party and lined up tables in the shape of a horse shoe. Floral centerpieces decorated the tables. Gloria walked up behind her and smiled.
G: "Oh Adela, the room looks beautiful."
A: "They did a nice job."
Gloria nodded.
G: "Carmine's parking the car, where should we put the favors?"
A: "I figured we'd scatter them around the tables."
G: "Ok let's get going."
The waiter walked in.
W: "Mrs. Corinthos, is everything to your liking?"
A: "Oh yes..you've done a wonderful job. Everyone should be arriving with in the half hour."
W: "Very well."
Carmine walked in as the waiter excused himself.
Ca: "Gallo and the nun are here."
G: "CARMINE! Sister Mary Margaret has a name!"
Car: "Yeah..a long one." He looked at Adela as he lit his cigar. "Is there any special seating."
A: "No Carmine, just the two wicker chairs are for Sonny & Brenda."
Carmine nodded and looked towards the entrance way.
FG: "Well, don't tell me we're the first ones here, we live the furthest!"
Adela laughed and kissed his cheek.
A: "I'm glad you came.."
FG: "Yeah well I almost backed out when you asked me to give the toast."

FG: "Every once and I while we do take them for fry cleaning Carmine." He laughed as Carmine pulled on his cigar.

They laughed. "We all have watched you two grow from teenagers who thought they knew everything, to adults who chased their dreams and live their lives for eachother. It's been a long road Sonny, and I'm honored to have been apart of that journey.. I look at you two now and all the talks in the middle of the night, the stubborness, the advice seems so far away. After all these years you'd think this would be the end, but it's just the beginning." He held up his glass. "To Sonny & Brenda, much luck and happiness. And I'll always be there for the both of you."
All : "Salute."
THey sipped their champaigne as Brenda wiped her eyes. Sonny stood up and walked over to Gallo and hugged him.
S: "Thanks Gallo."

Adela turned around immediately and looked at the man.

Sonny looked at his mother, refusing to look at Mike. However, Adela stared at him, as she held onto the back of a chair.
A: "Say something!"
Veronica looked at Mike puzzled.

Lou: "Sonny--"
S: "Do it!"
Louie looked at Mike, he grabbed his arm. Mike looked at him, then Gloria, she instantly looked away as her son dragged him out of the Grille. Carmine ran in.
Car: "The ambulance should be here any minute."
Lo: "Veronica you should leave."
Veronica nodded and looked at Adela and then Lisa before walking out.
Brenda came running in with Jackson's medical bag. She had fallen and scaped her knee, and she was carrying her shoe that had broke in her free hand. She handed the bag to Jackson.
Jackson grabbed some stuff from the bag and took her blood preasure.
Li: "Brenda are you ok?"
She nodded.
B: "Yeah..my uh shoe broke--Jackson is she gonna be ok?"
Jac: "Her blood preasure is very high, in my oppinion she either had a coronary or a stroke..They'll run tests when she gets to the hospital." Sonny smoothed his mothers hair back as he looke down at her.
Ca: "Wheres the ambulance coming from GUAM?"
Jac: "If they don't come in five minutes, I'm taking her myself."
Just then two EMT's rushed into the Grille wheeling a stretcher.
EMT1: "Step aside...What happened?"
Jac: "I'm a doctor, she passed out, her blood preasure is 230 of 190. Her pulse is very weak... Possible coronary or stroke." He said as the Emt's lifted her onto the stretched, placing the oxygen mass over her. Sonny stood up and watched.
Emt2: "Is there any immediate family present."
S: (Hoarse) "I'm her son...Can I ride with her?"
EMT1: "Yeah..come on..Call it in, code blue."
Sonny looked at Brenda. She hugged him.
B: "I'll meet you there."
He nodded as she pulled back. The EMTS and SOnny hurried out of the restaurant. Jackson put his hand on Brenda's shoulder.
Ja: "Come on I'll drive."
She looked at him.
B: "Thank you." She looked at everyone.
G: "GO sweetheart we'll all meet you there."
Brenda nodded and followed Jackson out of the Grille, while Frannie looked on.
Sonny held his mothers hand as they rushed through the streets of Port Charles to get to General Hospital.
S: "Ma..you gotta hang in there ok?.." He looked down at their hands that were intwined. "I know I haven't been the perfect son to you, but I..I love you. And...well I don't blame you for everything bad that has happened to us..I'm sorry I constantly make you think that.. But nows not the time to give up on me. Ma, I'm gonna get married soon, and me and Brenda are gonna try to allow ourselfs to have children...I can't imagine doing any of that without you on the sidelines cheering us on." He brought her hand to his lips and whispered against her skin. "Quedate Conmigo, Mama."
Louie let go of Mike.
Lou: "I uh sorry I had to do that Mike."
Mi: "Just following orders." He looked him over. "Wow...I can't believe how much you have changed."
Lou: "Mike the last time you saw me was the last time you saw your son, that was 18 years ago...Tell me something did you notice how much he changed or don't you care?" He stared at him before walking away from him.
Sonny ran along side the stretcher as they hurried her into the hospital. The house resident hurried to her.
Dr: "What happened?"
EMT: "Passed out, possible coronary or stroke."
DR: "ER 1, now!" He looked at Sonny. "You'll have to stay here!"
Sonny swallowed and watched the doctor run into the room his mother had been rushed into.
He stood there for moments just watching the closed door, alone. Until he felt two arms wrap around his waist. He closed his eyes momentarily and then turned around slowly and looked into Brenda's eyes. Tears fell from his eyes and she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him to her.
B: "She's gonna be ok Sonny..I promise you.."
S: "Bren.." He pulled back and looked at her. "Why'd he have to come back.."
She tilted her head to the side, and caressed his cheek with her hand.
B: 'I don't know honey.." She whispered.
HE sighed heavily and rubbed his eyes.
S: "I'm sorry the party was ruined, sweetheart."
She shook her head.
B: "Forget about the party Sonny..all that matters is that Adela's comes out of this ok. And anything after that, we can handle..including Mike.."
S: "Whats to handle? He's as good as dead to me."
He turned around and looked at the room his mother was being worked on in. Brenda rubbed his shoulders as she followed his gaze.
Jackson took a seat and turned when the gang started filing off the elevator. His eyes met with Frannie's as she carried her daughter. He looked through the group and didnt' see any sign of John. Louie walked over to him.
Lou: "Any word yet?"
Ja: "No, nothing yet."
Lisa walked over to Sonny and Brenda.
Li: "Can I go get you guys anything?"
B: "No we're fine."
Li: (nodds) "Lois went back to the penthouse to get you a change of clothes. You should really clean you knee up Bren."
Sonny looked at Lisa then Brenda.
S: "What happened to you knee?"
B: "Nothing..when I went to get Jackson's bag, my shoe got caught and I fell..just a scrape.."
S: "Lisa's right...clean it up, ask the nurse for a band aid.."
B: "Sonny..It's just a scrape." He took a deep breath and nodded.
Frannie hesitated but walked over to Jackson. She sat beside him as Briana mumbled some baby talk and yacked "Mama.. Mama!"
Jackson looked at Briana and smiled.
Jac: "Hey there cutie.."
Frannie looked at him.
Fr: "You were great back there." He looked at her. "I mean it.."
He gave her a slight nodd.
Jac: "Thank you."
An hour later the waiting room had cleared out a little. Carmine and Gloria stayed, so did Louie, Jackson and Frannie. Lois was downstairs smoking a cigarette. Brenda had changed into the sweats that Lois brought and was sitting next to Sonny, holding his hand in hers. The doctor emerged from the ER room and walked over to Sonny.
DR: "Mr. Corinthos..."
Sonny stood up.
Dr: "Your mother had a mini-stroke, she's table now and we've got her monitored. When she wakes up you can visit with her. But she's going to need her rest."
SOnny held out his hand to the doctor.
S: "Thanks Doc.."
The doctor nodded and shook his hand. Sonny turned to Brenda and she hugged him.
G: "Oh thank god.."
Car: "I'm gonna tell Lois shes ok."
Sonny pulled back from Brenda and Gloria hugged him.
S: "Thanks for staying Gloria."
G: "Please..."
Louie stood up.
Lou: "Sonny give me a call in the morning. I'm gonna bounce. I'm glad shes alright."
S: "Thanks man..could you take Brenda home?"
B: "What? No..I'm not leaving you."
S: "Baby..I don't want to leave her..go home and get some sleep. I'll come home in a couple of hours."
B: "I'm not leaving Sonny.."
S: "Ok...Ok."
He kissed her softly.
S:"Thanks babe."
B: "She's my family and so are you."
Sonny nodded. Frannie hugged him.
Fr: "I'll come by tomorrow."
S: "Thanks Fran.. Jackson, thanks for your help before."
Jac: "It's what I do."
Sonny nodded and Brenda kissed his cheek.
B: "Thanks Jackson."
He winked at her. Then turned to Frannie.
Jac: "YOu need a lift?"
Fr: "Uh..well."
Jac: "Come on Frannie, no games."
She nodded and followed him out.. Brenda and Sonny looked at eachother when they were left alone.
B: "I'm gonna go get us some coffee."
S: "Alright, sweetheart." She gave him a slight smile and then went to the cafeteria. He threw his head in his hands and rubbed his face tiredly. When he looked up he saw Mike walking off the elevator. Sonny stood up and glared at Mike as he walked towards.
M: "How is she?"
S: "How is she? She had a fucking stroke because of you!"
M: "I'm sorry..I didn't-"
S: "You didn't what?!"
M: "Michael--"
S: "Do not call me that.." He stepped to him. "Listen here old man, you did enough damage for one night. I suggest you leave before you'll regret you ever saw us tonight."
M: "I want a chance to explian."
S:"YOU WANT A CHANCE? NEWS FLASH YOU LOST ALL CHANCES WHEN YOU WALKED 18 YEARS AGO..The only Chance I'll give you is to get the fuck out of here before I take you out myself."
M: "Your mother--"
Sonny Grabbed Mike by his collar and slammed him against the wall.
S: "DONT TALK ABOUT MY MOTHER LIKE A GIVE A DAMN!"
M: "I do Michael..I may--"
S: "SHUT UP!"
M: "NO..not until you hear what I have to say!"
S: "I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP...What you have to say means shit to me.."
M: "I LEFT YOU AND YOUR MOTHER BECAUSE I COULDN'T GIVE YOU THE LIFE EITHER of YOU DESERVED! AND thats the God honest truth!"
S: "THE LIFE WE DESERVED? You wanna a hear about the life You thought we Deserved. I stayed up all night watching my mother be BEATEN and there wasnt a blessed thing I could do about it! When I fought him, he fought back and he fought back harder...I HATE MYSELF THAT I DIDNT PUT A BULLET IN THAT BASTARD.. SO OLD MAN YOU MADE THE WRONG CHOICE!"
M: "Michael--"
S: "I SAID DONT CALL ME THAT!"
He slammed him harder against the wall.
Nurse: "GET SECURITY!"
Brenda dropped the coffee and ran towards Sonny.
S: "YOU DESERVE TO SUFFER JuST LIKE SHE DID! JUST LIKE SHE DID!" He siad as his hands gripped his neck. Vengence poured from his eyes as he stared into his father's eyes.
B: "SONNY!" SHe tried to pull him off Mike but his grip was too strong.
S: "I'll Make sure you PAY For what you did to her tonight..for what you did 18 YEARS AGO!"
Brenda grabbed his arm.
B: "SONNY LET GO OF HIM! PLEASE!!!"
Sonny closed his eyes as he heard his mothers pleas for Deke to stop, and they faded to Brenda's pleas.
B: "Sonny..Please! Let go!!"
He opened his eyes and let go Of Mike, who instanty gasped for breath. Brenda grabbed Sonny and turned him around.
B: "What is wrong with you!? Do you want to go to jail!" He looked over his shoulder at Mike.
S: (Low) "Leave.." Mike looked at him as he took deep breaths. He stood and slowly walked towards the elevator. Sonny closed his eyes and clenched his fists. Brenda stared at him.
B: "Sonny.."
Sonny looked at her.
S: "HE's gonna pay.."
B: "Sonny...your scaring me..now calm down."
DR: "Mr Corinthos...your lucky they didn't kick you out of the hospital. Now you can visit with your mother for few minutes. She's asking you."
Sonny looked at the doctor then walked into the room his mother was in, leaving Brenda to stare after him.
