4a                                AID FOR IKHLAQ AND FAMILY

Four years ago Encik Ikhlaq had a stroke. As a result, he could not work properly  to support his family. His family consists of his wife, mother and five small children.  The money he earns from working in a nearby coconut plantation is not enough to feed his family.

The family is so poor that they can only afford to eat rice porridge and salted fish. They have not eaten beef or chicken for a long time. However, they may be receiving some good news soon. The Government heard of their unfortunate situation and is donating RM 500. They will  also be given rice, sugar , salt and oil.

4b                               HAPPINESS IS A CARD FROM FAMILY

Sometimes soldiers who are on duty feel sad because they are away from their loved ones. A soldier, Sergeant Zawawi, is sad that he has to leave his wife and two children  in their village while he is on duty at the Malaysian-Indonesian border.  He knows that he has a duty to the nation.

He is thankful his wife understands that his job takes him away from his family.  His wife neverforgets to send him cards to remind him of important occasions. He is hoping that next year he will be with his family during the celebrations.

The KL Sentral will open next month. When the station opens, commuters will enjoy a faster and more efficient rideto and from the KL International Airport.

Although most of the station was ready late last year, it will be fully completed  only this year. KTM Bhd is preparing their offices and is conducting test runs.

At the moment the Putra-LRT service passes through KL Sentral, but does not stop there to pick up or drop off passengers.

Once the station is completed, it will provide commuters with a better publictransportservice within the Klang Valley.
