Reed Richards enlists the aid of Nick Fury and SHIELD in order to reign in the Silver Surfer, unaware of the Surfer's internal struggles with Mephisto.

Review
One of the first examples of SHIELD being used to bring down a super-powered being, encouraged by Mr. Fantastic no less! Fury and SHIELD are spotlighted pretty well; with a funny dressing down of Dum Dum by Fury. Although he later escapes, SHIELD does manage to down the Surfer.
