Rei Ayanami is the pilot of Eva-00. She is referred as the "First Child". Her Past is unknown as all of her records have been deleted. She never talks though i think its because she has a lousy personality. She won't show her own feeling's to anyone except Gendo Ikari, the commander of Nerv.

Asuka Langley
Age:14
Asuka Langley is the pilot of Eva-02. She is referred as the "Second Child". She is 1/4 Japanese and 3/4 German. She is very confident and proud of her skill as Eva pilot. She always strives to be the best in the group, and shinji's constant victories against the angles make her extremly jelous. Her favourite phrase is "Are u stupid?"

Shinji Ikari
Age:14
Shinji Ikari is the main character of "Neon Genesis Evangelion", and the pilot of Eva-01. He is referred as the "Third Child". He is the son of Gendo Ikari, the Commander of Nerv, but their relationship is almost non-existint. He left shinji at an early age. Although Shinji says he hates his father, he is very eager for his father's love and care. In the early episodes, Shinji is very negative, depressed and suffers a lack of confidence. He always thinks he is useless and nobody cares for him. After awile of living with his guardian, Misato Katsuragi his confidence is starting to build up and he becomes more positive.

Misato Katsuragi
Age:29
Misato Katsuragi, is the Evagelion pilot's superior officer and is resonsible for the operations of the whole of NERV headquatres whenever Commander Gendo Ikari is not present. Misato has only one goal in life: to destroy the angels that killed her father during the second impact. Misato becomes Shinji's guardian. An attractive woman with a seemingly cheerful and optimistic personality, she is a lover of beer and fast food. Misato is also the only human being to have witnessed the second impact first hand and survived.

Gendo Ikari
Age approx:48
Commander of NERV and directer of the Human instumentality project, Cold, ruthless and self-confident he commands NERV with a stern and unyeilding hand. Early in the series it becomes evident that he following his own mysterious agenda.
