Personalities: Rachel is a difficult girl. She projects one set of emotions and attitudes to the world, and then there's the private part of herself, which is hardly ever shown to anyone. Both parts of her personality can be rough. She's had a hard life, so she's rough on everyone, including herself.

She is described as the least heroic of the Sailors. She is just beginning to see her role as Sailor Mercury as something more than just something to keep her out of jail. The hope is that as she becomes more used to the role that she will leave her more violent tendencies behind.

All of this is complicated by the fact that Sailor Mercury was possessed by a wraith-shard of Queen Beryl (SX3) and is partially under it's influence. The shard wants to gain the energy to be reborn, and the best energy source is negative emotions.

History: To say that Rachel is the product of a bad upbringing would be an understatement. Her father abused her when she was young, he killed her mother, then disappeared, leaving Rachel to fend for herself. She tried to do so, but ended up in one home after another, and finally she was put in the Tokyo Central Detention Facility.

Rachel was the last of the new Sailors to be recruited. Amy willingly gave up her opportunity to choose her own successor in order to allow Neo-Queen Serenity and Luna to try to save Rachel. (SX5)

Rachel was possessed by a wraith-shard of Queen Beryl. In order to gain strength, it dug into the recesses of Rachel's mind and tortured her by replaying the memories of her father's abuse. When her father started committing sex crimes in Tokyo, Rachel tracked him down and killed him.

While some of Sailor Mercury's stronger powers met the staunch disapproval of Sandra, (because they are controlled by the wraith-shard and Sailor Mercury might lose control of them), Sailor Merucury has used her death dome to save the other Sailors. (SX7 & SX18)

Senshi suit: Rachel's Sailor Mercury suit is identical to the original Sailor Mercury uniform.

MECURY BUBBLES BLAST - Same as original attack.
MERCURY ICE STORM BLAST - Similar to original attack. Mercury used it to freeze a villain within a solid chunk of ice. (SX3)
MERCURY SHARD - A heavy shard of ice appears in Mercury's hand, and she can then throw it at an enemy (SX1).
MERCURY DEATH SPHERE / DOME - A sphere of negative energy expands around Sailor Mercury. Anything caught in it dies or has whatever energy is within it drained out. The energy is sucked into Sailor Mercury, and it is an addictive trait of the power. (SX4)
