The Hatching
Naldyn woke up out of his slumber when he heard loud noices outside
his aery. A head poked around the corner of his door "THE HATCHING! THE
HATCHING!" It did'nt take long until Naldyn jumped out of bed and into
the candidate robe. There were people running everywhere in the doorway.
Naldyn threw himself in the stream and was running towards the Dome.
The Dome was full of people and dragons. The two females held a watching
eye on the candidates who was crowding around the eggs.
Naldyn stood in the circle behind a big fellow and tried to see something.
"The eggs are rocking!!" someone shouted. Naldyn stood on his toes and
saw the small eggs, and they were rocking indeed. Then small cracks opened
in the eggs and small geperna dragons crawled out of them. The candidates
went closer the eggs and a chaos of pushing broke out. Naldyn were tripping
around in the circle and tumbled down beside an egg.
A small green snout came out and small blue eyes were observing him.
The head broke out and looked deeply into his eyes. ~I'm Nakos'Chyr.~ Naldyn
were chocked. The little green creature were so beautiful, and he had chosen
him of all people. ~Well, I'll think you'll do just nice~ the dragon said
and seemed to grin at Naldyn. "Oh, I don't know what to say..." ~Well,
don't say anything then. You can give me some food if you're going to do
anything.~ "Of course, of course." Naldyn gave the hungry hatchling meet
until his belly was bulging and the dragon was sleeping with contemt.
And that was how Naldyn Impressed Nakos'Chyr.
