Has anyone seen Jason and his new KFC commericals? "There's fast food, and then there's KFC." - Jason. Well, his show is still scheduled for the fall, hopefully it won't be bad and cancel like Michael's. But who are we kidding.
It's not a show without the four of them.

What else, ah, Bubble Boy, lol. I can't believe they made this movie! It looks kinda funny though. A boy in a plastic bubble, haha. It comes out the 24th.

Reminder: Just for the summer, we will be sending the newsletter out bi-weekly. Many of us are busy and have things to do so we don't have much time to work on the newsletter. Sorry.

And again: MANY MANY MANY of you are asking me for Seinfeld episodes on tape. Now, I do have them, but I am not selling them nor taping them. I do not have the time. Sorry. Pick Of The Week

"The Face Painter"--Tuesday, August 14

George and his girlfriend discuss toilet paper and he is in love. Elaine's boyfriend paints his face and his behavior at a hockey game, disturbs Jerry, Elaine and a passing priest. A monkey throws a banana peel at Kramer, when he throws it back, the monkey becomes depressed and the zoo demands an apology. George tries to tell his girlfriend that he loves her, but her reaction surprises him. Jerry refuses to give the "necessary" follow-up courtesy thank you for the hockey tickets and Kramer is outraged.

Sound Of The Week

This week I have some major news! Saturday night I went to see Jerry Seinfeld live doing his new comedy act. And let me tell you it was everything I could have ever dreamed it would be!  His new stuff was just like his old stuff, and to tell you the truth I don't want to give too much away. And to actually see him was such a treat! So after the show I waited outside to see if I could get a glimpse of him getting into his limo. So I waited for like an hour or so and he finally came out to sign some autographs.  I had my little pad of paper ready and a letter I had written him about our little online cult following. So as he was working his way down the line he finally got to me at the end and looked me straight in the face and gave me an autograph  I tell you I was in shock, there was this idol that I had looked at and loved for many years looking right at me! So after he signed my letter I shook his hand and gave him my little piece of fan mail and he moved on. All I could say was "Thanks for everything Jerry!" I was literally shaking and I couldn't believe what had just happened! It was like I was just frozen! I couldn't believe it!  I was also surprised that I was looking him in the eye too. I'm only 6 ft tall and he looks taller than that. So anyway, if you have ever have a chance to go see him Live I HIGHLY recommend it!  It is just the best experience ever! So, that's my little life altering experience for the day. 

Anyway this week's sound of the week is Jerry and the gang talking about the huge ball of oil.  Have a great week SeinFans!!

And PS.  We didn't get a "Hello Newman" during the question and answer segment!  I was really upset! :)  But I still loved it!

Seinfeld10:   Thank you Sean for taking the time to do this interview with me.  
SMP3385:   What's going on?
Seinfeld10:   Lets start off with the most common question, what is your favorite episode and why?
SMP3385:   My favorite episode is "Nonfat Yogurt" because it, more than any episode shoved the envelope.  I think that's funny.
Seinfeld10:   Yeah, that is a good one. "This is so !@#$ good!"
SMP3385:   Yeah. I think that's my favorite.
Seinfeld10:   So please tell me Sean, who is your favorite main and non main character on the show and why?
SMP3385:   I'd have to say George is my favorite main character becuase he's a scum bag!  I haven't seen scum like that since I went to the dentist. Gerorge is the guy you would hate in real life, but LOVE in a sitcom.
SMP3385:   My favorite non-character is Jackie Chiles. For obvious reasons! He's pretty much Johnny Cochrine isn't he?
Seinfeld10:   Good Answers, yeah, I too love George, but Jerry has his funny moments too. Jackie, yeah, funny funny.
Seinfeld10:   Speaking of George, how do you think Jason's new show will be?
SMP3385:   Most likely? Terrible. Just because of the contrast. I'll bet if it was just another actor in the show, it'd be okay. But since Jason's in it, everyone'll expect the brilliance of Seinfeld, and it's not going to happen. He did such a great job in Seinfeld that that will actually hurt his next show. Ironic but true.
Seinfeld10:   I agree, but isn't that what people that of the Michael Richards show? They were expecting the same thing.
Seinfeld10:   They were expecting for it to be a "seinfeld" type thing.
SMP3385:   Exactly. And if Jerry were to do another show it'd be the same thing.  And same with Julia.  This was their only sitcom, all of them.
Seinfeld10:   Julia, wasn't she also suppost to have a show?
SMP3385:   I'm not sure. If she does have a show, don't blink because you'll miss it.  That show'll be off the air faster than Bonds to 49 homers this year.  And again, it's now her, it's the greatness of "Seinfeld."
SMP3385:   It's NOT her, not "it's now her."
Seinfeld10:   Haha, it's just not a show without the four of them. That's a show! Jerry said. When we all have no jobs, and we are all out of money, we'll make another show, LOL.
Seinfeld10:   Gee, how long will that be? haha.
SMP3385:   I don't think they will ever get back together to do another show. I think Jerry, although outnumbered 5 billion to 1, thinks that that's enough of "Seinfeld."
Seinfeld10:   Unfortunatley, that's very true. But Jason is doing some KFC commericals. I'm not sure if you've seen that. But his humor in the commericals remind me of him being on Seinfeld. Just like when Jerry does his American Express commercials. 
SMP3385:   Well, yeah. Just because they're all good actors (Jerry is arguable) doesn't mean they aren't the same people. You think they resemble their characters because they look, talk and have mannorisms just like their characters. And with Jerry, his humor ANYWHERE is going to be similar to the show because the show was based on his comedy!
Seinfeld10:   And it seems to me that everyone wants the show back. Even though it won't be, writers all over are trying to somehow keep the show "alive." What about this new movie, The Bubbleboy. I mean come on, where else do you think they got this from?  :o)
Seinfeld10:   Which by the way looks like a very funny, but stupid movie, LOL.
SMP3385:   Well, "Seinfeld" is a monumentally influencial show. You've got the Bubbleboy, you've got people saying "Yada yada yada." I could name more.  "Seinfeld" has changed the way people live and talk!  That's a pretty big impact wouldn't you say?
Seinfeld10:   I can just see in now...People years from now will open up their History books and will learn all about Seinfeld, LOL. Yeah, huge impact of course. I don't go one day without saying something that refers to Seinfeld. 
SMP3385:   Exactly! Yesterday I called my friend a "re-gifter" because he loaned me a beach towel that someone else had left there!
Seinfeld10:   haha. And for me...My boyfriend came back from New York and bought me a hat...About a week later, he asked for it back!!! I called him an "Indian Giver." LOL.
SMP3385:   You mean... A person who... Umm... Gives you something and then...  umm.. Tries to uh... tries to take it back.
Seinfeld10:   LOL. Man, I can go on all day...haha. Well, Sean thank you again for taking the time to do this interview with me. It was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Any last words to the readers out there?
SMP3385:    Try to honestly think of the last time you actually laughed watching Seinfeld. You might say, "I laugh all the time, it's halarious." It is halarious, but I find that some people are so wrapped up into the show, and love the show so much that the comedy is not what they are focusing on. They love the characters so much that they forget what it is, a comedy! So, remember, although "Seinfeld" is a monumentally influencial show and it's original in so many ways, all it is, is a half hour sitcom. So keep it in perspective, watch it for the comedy, because it's just a show, there's a lot better things to love in life than a TV show.

As you all read above I saw Jerry live last night and this is just one joke that I can remember:

Why is it that baby products always have to have a picture of a goddamn baby on it?  What is it that I think I'm trying to buy when I go to pick up Huggies? "These aren't elegant dinner napkins! These look like something that you wipe a babies ass with!"

Trust me, it sound much funnier when you hear Jerry himself say it instead of in your head  Plus I'm not sure exactly how accurate I am but the point is made. :)

Spoofs!

Jerry and George, went to high school in the 70s. We know this because of the flashback in the episode about the overdue library book. However, in the frogger (which takes place at the present day, 1998) Jerry asks Elaine, if she would like to go to Jerry & George's old high school hangout, the pizza place which is closing. When they get there, they are looking at the frogger machine that they used to play (presumably in high school, because thats where they hung out) and George notices that he still has the high score. He says "No one has beaten me in like, 10 years." Which would've made it 1988. If they graduated in the 70s, how is that their high school hangout? Also, in the episode where an NYU reporter says that Jerry & George are gay, Kramer points out that they are late 30s, neat, and single... that wouldve made them at least late 20s (if not older, since the report was a few years before the frogger) , 10 years before, when george had the frogger high score. Are Jerry and George really big idiots, graduating school in their late 20s? Or did Seinfeld writers make a big mistake?
