Wednesday, May 23 --"The Pez Dispenser"

Kramer joins the "Polar Bear Club." Jerry gets one of Kramer's Pez dispensers which makes Elaine laugh during a piano recital of George's girlfriend, and that puts their relationship in jeopardy. Kramer has an idea for a cologne that smells like the beach and suggests that George make a preemptive breakup with his girlfriend, that will give him the "upper hand." The Pez dispenser has a remarkable effect during a drug confrontation.

He Seinfeld Fans! This week I kinda wanted to open up with a little editorial. With all these writers now going to see Jerry live doing stand up, I just can't believe that he wouldn't come anywhere near my home town of Indianapolis, IN. Even like Chicago would be great! But it was not meant to be. Anyway...this week's sound of the week is one that has never been on this section before. This is Jerry showing his insanity by throwing away a belt that touched the stall in the men's room. Have a great week everyone!!

This week's Silly Bio is one the many bosses that George had during the show. This one was while he was with the Yankees and eventually got him committed to a mental institution because of his Alzimers. He always thought highly of George and even recommended him for a promotion. But eventually, him and George got into a little competition when both wanted to become the head scout for the Mets and eventually this character was fired.

Allie52927: Well, I'll do my best...keep in mind I'm pretty much a virgin with interviewing so my apologies!
Allie52927: but anyways, let's get down the the "griddy griddy"
Shembee05: alright, i'm ready :)
Allie52927: How long have you been watching Seinfeld?
Shembee05: The first episode that I ever saw was "The Dinner Party." I saw it as a re-run. I guess the last two seasons of the show were when I actually started watching the new ones. Ever since then I have loved Seinfeld and it has been my favorite show. I cried during the finale.
Allie52927: Awww how cute! I was pretty sad to see it go as well. What did you think of that final episode?
Shembee05: I was quite upset because everybody made such a big deal about it, but it really wasn't as good as I expected. However, I didn't think it was as bad as everybody said that it was. I think it was a funny way to sum up all of the funny memories that have happened on the show. The most clever thing was that the ended with the same topic that they started with.

Allie52927: I totally agree 100%! A lot of people thought it was terrible, I actually thought it was very clever to bring back former characters
Allie52927: I hate when people ask me this question because it's so hard to answer, but what is your favorite episode?
Shembee05: I agree, I think that you had to of watched every episode and understand every character to appreciate it.
Shembee05: That is definitely a hard question, but I am going to have to choose "The Contest." I love the contest because of the extremely funny story line and the brillant writing. It is especially funny because they talk about the certain topic, but never actually say the topic directly.
Allie52927: What a great episode! I liked it a lot too!
Allie52927: Did you happen to catch the Michael Richard Show or Larry David?
Shembee05: I watched some of the Michael Richards Show. It just wasn't the same though because Michael Richards will always be Kramer and just can't be any other character.
Allie52927: Yeah I know, personally Kramer was one of my favorites...did you have a favorite character?
Shembee05: I love George. He is so funny becase he will blow the littliest things out of proportion, and makes everything in the show so humorous.
Allie52927: yeah, he is really funny!
Allie52927: Do you still watch Seinfeld everyday?
Shembee05: I watch it every single day. I have about 17 tapes full of episodes, but I am still missing some. I just have to hope that the episodes aren't taken off the air until I have all of them.
Allie52927: yeah, i tape all of them also..i even have many repeats but I would rather have multiples of episodes than be missing any! I still watch it everyday...i really hope they dont stop playing reruns!
Allie52927: I adjust my time according to when Seinfeld is on!
Shembee05: I do that as well!! I also watch my tapes over and over again and never get sick of them.
Allie52927: Yeah, whenever I am bored and nothing good is on TV I just put in a Seinfeld tape!
Allie52927: Well, is there anything else you would like to talk about?
Shembee05: Well, I would just like to say that Seinfeld is the greatest show ever and everyone should watch it. And of course, a special hello to Steph.

Jerry finds out that the new NBC president passed on their pilot?

Jerry: Hello.
Rita: Hi Jerry, this is Rita Kearson.
Jerry: Hi Rita. (lips to George, "NBC")
Rita: I called to inform you that Russell Dalrimple is no longer with this network.
Jerry: Oh my God, did he get fired?!
Rita: No one knows what has happened to him. He seems to have disappeared.
Jerry: Russell's disappeared?! (George runs over)
Rita: Well, in any event, I have been made the new president. As you may or may not know, Russell and I did not agree on many projects and as my first order of business, I'm passing on your show. (picks up the script)
Jerry: Passing?! Already! It just ended two mintues ago.
Rita: I just got the job. Good bye, Jerry. (throws script down)
(everyone turns around and looks at Elaine)
Elaine: What?
George: It was you!
Elaine: What, what did I do?
Jerry: Do you realize his obsession with you cost us a tv series?!!!
Elaine: How was I to know that he'd fall in love with me and that I'd drive him crazy?! That's not my fault!
George: Yes it is! You're very charming!
Elaine: Well, what happened to him? Where the hell is he?!!
Jerry: No one knows.

Maybe the Jersey Shore; then instead of sitting on Jerry's couch all the time, they could be sitting on the beach all the time. They could all walk on the boardwalk instead of uptown and downtown. Kramer could catch lobster and pretend to lifeguard as his day job. Jerry could do regular shows at the casinos. Elaine could meet lots of guys on the boardwalk. And George could complain about being fat and bald in a bathing suit!

Are there keys to a plane? Maybe that's what those delays are sometimes, when you're just sitting there at the gate. Maybe the pilot sits up there in the cockpit going, "Oh, I don't believe this. Dammit..I did it again." They tell you it's something mechanical because they don't want to come on the P.A. system, "Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to be delayed here on the ground for a while. I uh..Oh, God this is so embarrassing...I, I left the keys to the plane in my apartment. They're in this big ashtray by the front door. I'm sorry, I'll run back and get them."

 In the episode where George pees in the shower at the health club, Kramer claims he only takes baths. However, in the episode with the low-flow showers, Kramer says he is forced to take a bath when he usually showers, and instead finds it disgusting because he sits in a pool full of his own filth where "micro-organisms are having sex all around him."
