True Feelings Part 1
Usagi sat happily next to Rei on her right side and Minako on her left.
Makoto sat next to Minako and Ami sat next to Rei. It was graduation. After
some yelling, Rei had changed schools to be with her friends. Usagi wasn't
the same, she was a straight A student. She looked back to look at Mamoru
and the outer senshi who were pretty much her family since her parnets had
died. Mamoru was smiling at Usagi, Haruka winked, Michiru and Setsuna smiled
and little Hotaru gave her the thumbs up.
"And now," the headmaster was standing before them all, reading off a
peice of paper, "the ever popular singing group, The Three Lights!" Usagi's
jaw dropped, Seiya, Yaten and Taiki came running up the stairs to the stage.
Tossing red roses as they went. The three lights stood up on sining. Seiya
caught site of Usagi sitting in front of him, he smiled and pulled the red
rose out of his pocket and tossed it onto Usagi's lap and winked at her.
Usagi turned bright red.
"Man, he's still hung up on you." Minako whispered into her ear. Usagi
quickly looked back at Mamoru, he was cracking his nuckles. Haruka looked
shocked, Michiru was still rubbing her eyes, Sestuna was smiling and Hotaru
was standing on her chair yelling happily.
Usagi had never told Mamoru about what had happened between her and
Seiya. Going on there date, the number of times Seiya had saved her, soft
ball pratice, the night they had spent together, what Hotaru had asked
SailorStar Fighter and the kiss. Mamoru would have killed Seiya. And she
knew it. After they were done singing everyone milled around, eating and
talking. The three lights walked over to where the senshi were talking.
"Hey, Ami-chan." Taiki came up behind her and gave her a blue rose.
"Oh," Ami blushed and took it. "Thank you Taiki-kun."
"For you Rei-chan." Yaten gave her a quick kiss and a red rose.
"Thank you Yaten-kun." Seiya gave Makoto a red rose and Minako a yellow
one. 'Good' Mamoru thought, 'he didn't give MY Usako one.'
"And for you, Odango." Seiya handed her a white rose. "Only one I had
and I saved it for the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." he whispered
into her ear. Usagi blushed. Mamoru grabbed Usagi and pulled her close.
"For you, MY beautiful Usako." he handed her a red rose.
"Nyanko!" Haruka grabbed her around her waist, picked her up and spun
her around. "You did it! I knew you could!" Haruka gave her a quick kiss on
her cheek, both Mamoru and Seiya's jaws dropped. Usagi blushed.
"Don't let Haruka tease you like that!" Michiru said, punching Haruka's
arm lightly. "But I'm very proud of you my little princess." Michiru hugged
her.
"Usagi-chan, I'm pround to call you my daughter." Setsuna smiled at her
and she hugged her tight. "All the help Michiru and I gave you really paid
off."
"Usagi-san, you'll still live with us, right?" Hotaru asked, looking up
at her. Usagi picked her up and held her, looking into her eyes.
"Hotaru-chan, i'd never leave." Hotaru smiled and jumped down.
"Usagi-san, come and play with me."
"Alright."
"I'm a really big fan of your's, will you play with me too Seiya-kun?"
"Sure, why not."
"Can i come too Hotaru-chan?" Mamoru asked.
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because."
"I'll see you later Mamo-chan." Usagi said to him, starting to walk
away. Mamoru grabbed her and kissed her deeply. He opened his eyes and
looked over at Seiya. Mamoru was happy to see him looking sad. Seeing this
Rei turned to Mamoru and Usagi.
"Get a room Mamoru."
"Ja Usako." Mamoru waved as he got into his car. Hotaru ran towards some
swings while Usagi and Seiya followed.
"There's going to be a party tonight at Rei-chan's temple, will you and
the other lights come?"
"Will you be there?"
"Hai."
"Sure." Seiya said watching Hotaru.
"This dumb rose." Usagi said playing with the white rose Seiya has
given to her.
"What? You don't like it?"
"Oh, on, I like it very much. It just wont stay in my hair."
"Here, I'll do it." Taking the rose he put it into one of the buns on
her head. "There, ya happy now?"
"Hai, argito Seiya-cha... I mean Seiya-kun." Seiya stood watching Hotaru
chasing Usagi around. 'She's so beautiful, I don't understand how Mamoru
could have left her. A godess, that's what she is, the beautiful godess of
the Moon.'
"Seiya-kun," Hotaru tugged lightly on his coat, come and push me."
"Alright Hotaru-chan."
"Let's play tag!" Hotaru said happily. "I wanna be it first!" she ran
over to a tree and hid her eyes. "1...2...3...4...5..." As she was counting
Seiya and Usagi hid under the play set, together. Seiya was up aganist one
of the bars, while Usagi had her head pressed up aganist his chest, she
looked up and at the same time Seiya looked down.
