CHAPTER8

-Yes, I am Tsukino Usagi.

-Sign this please. Thank you, have a nice day! -The man said and gave Usagi a big bouquet of red roses.

Usagi closed the door and tried to smell the flowers. They smelled wonderfully. She took the card out of the envelope. The card said:

Dear Odango,

Let the roses remind you of the love that I feel for you, for the girl of my dreams with love.

From Seiya

She finished reading the card and was blushing a little.

-Wow! I never thought that I was the girl of his dreams. -Usagi started to giggle, but then the doorbell rang again.

-I wonder who could it be this time.

Usagi opened the door.

-Yes?

Usagi was in shock when she saw who it was. She wanted to close the door again, but it was too late.

-We have come for you, Sailor Moon. -one of the figures said. There were four demons standing in front of Usagi: a fire demon, a water demon, a heart demon and a thunder demon. Usagi didn’t waste a second, she turned her communicator watch on and yelled:

-Everyone listen! This is Usagi. It’s an emergency! Come as fast as you can to my house. There’re five demons here who want to kill me!

-They won’t make it in time, -one of the demons said. -at the time when they come, you will be already dead.

Usagi tried to run away, but they were too fast for her.

-GOLDEN MOON, MAKE UP! -she yelled and transformed.

-So, you want to fight, very well. -the heart demon said and wanted to throw her attack at Golden Sailor Moon, but she ran outside. She did not want the house to be damaged.

-If you want to be killed outside, very well.

-HEARTS OF JEALOUSY! -the heart demon yelled (who else).

Golden Sailor Moon jumped up and was able to avoid the attack.

-POISONED WATER! -yelled the other demon, but she received an unexpected punch on the face. -Hey that hurt! -she yelled.

-You tried to hurt our princess, didn’t you? We won’t forgive you for that! We are the Outer Senshi.

-We are the Inner Senshi.

-We are the Star Lights.

-What took you so long? -asked Sailor Moon with a smile on her pretty face.

-GOLDEN STAR LASER! -yelled Fighter.

The laser was really powerful, but it didn’t destroy the demons. Golden Sailor Moon took her Golden Scepter of love and shouted:

-GOLDEN STARMOON LOVE POWER! -she destroyed the demons easily.

They all heard a laugh. A strange figure appeared.

-Who are you? -asked Mercury.

The figure seemed to be a girl with short orange hair, dressed in a short, sailor type silver and black with some orange parts, costume.

-I am Nyaga. The future ruler of Crystal Tokyo and the destroyer of Sailor Moon.

-So you’re Nyaga, I will show you the power of the Senshi you will have to fight with if you want to hurt or kill Golden Sailor Moon. -shouted Uranus. -WORLD SHAKING!

-Your attacks don’t scare me. I have not come to fight. I have come to take my servants with me.

-What servants? -asked Golden Sailor Moon.

Nyaga threw four energy balls at Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Mars. The Inners screamed out of the horrible pain they were experiencing. A minute later they stopped screaming and their eyes turned evil. They went to Nyaga and laughed evilly at the other Senshi.

-These servants. -Nyaga said evilly. -We will meet again and that will be the last time that any of you will see me.

-Why will it be the last time?

-Because Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter will destroy you then. -she said and the five of them disappeared.

-No! Give the Inner Senshi back! -shouted Golden Moon, but she could not change anything.

-We knew that this would happen. -said Uranus coldly, trying to hide the tear that rolled down her cheek, because she did not want to fight against her friends. -We’ll just have to kill them to protect the Princess.

-What? I can’t believe you’re saying that! They are our friends, they are wonderful protectors and my best friends! How can you even think that! -yelled Moon and Fighter wanted to calm her down, but she pushed Fighter’s hand aside.

-I don’t think you understand !we have to protect you, no matter what. I fear that you won’t be able to heal them this time. And if I’m right, we will not have any other choice. -said Uranus and walked away. Neptune and Pluto followed. The Star Lights and Golden Sailor Moon were left alone.

-Why do they always want to do something horrible? Why don’t they care about the others?

-I think I understand them. -Fighter said looking at the place where Uranus had stood.

-What? -asked Sailor Moon.

-You heard me right. I would do anything to protect you, even if it meant killing everyone I know, even Healer and Maker. The most important thing is that you survive, that is all that counts.

Golden Sailor Moon looked at Golden Fighter’s eyes, which were shining with care.

-But I am sure that WE will be able to turn them back to normal.

-Yes, we believe in you two. -said Healer and Maker. -You will be able to turn Minako, Ami, Rei, and Makoto back to normal.

-I believe in us too. Come on. Let’s go. Tomorrow is the last day of school. You have to get plenty of rest, who knows how many battles we’ll go through later.

-Okay.

They all detransformed and split up: Yaten and Taiki went home, Seiya and Usagi decided to stay at Usagi’s, because Seiya could not leave her alone, it was too dangerous.

Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna had already returned to their house. Haruka looked upset.

-I knew that this would happen, but I never thought that this would happen so fast.

-Nyaga is clever. She knows that it is very hard for us to fight against our friends. -Setsuna said.

Haruka was silent.

-I’ll go check on Hotaru. -she said, stood up and went to Hotaru’s room.

When Haruka walked in, she saw Hotaru writing something. Haruka leaned closer to Hotaru.

-What are you doing , Hotaru-chan?

-Oh, Haruka-papa! I did not hear you come in. I was writing a poem.

-What happened to the drawing you were painting?

-I finished it.

-May I see it?

-Sure, I’ll go get it. -Hotaru ran towards her drawers where she kept all of her drawings, poems and other things. -Here, it’s one of my best ones.

Haruka took the drawing in her hand and looked closely at it.

-What is it?

-This is a couple that is very powerful. They are the Golden Couple and their love is really strong, so strong that they could even bring the dead to life.

-How do you know all that?

-I dreamt it one night. Someone told me the story about them in my dream.

-You say that they can even bring the dead to life?

-Yes.

Haruka stood silent for a minute and said:

-Hotaru, you have to go to bed.

-Please let me stay a little longer, Haruka-papa!

-Okay, but don’t tell Michiru-mama I did, okay?

-Thank you!

Haruka walked out of the room and went to the living room, where Setsuna and Michiru were discussing the new enemy. Haruka sat on the couch next to Michiru and put her hand on Michiru’s shoulder.

-I’ll go put Hotaru to bed. -Michiru said.

-No need for that. She said she’d go to bed herself later. -Haruka said.

-You let her stay longer, didn’t you? Haruka, you’ll spoil her one day, if you let her do anything she wants to!

-I won’t spoil her!

-Okay, let her stay longer this time, but this is the last time. -Michiru said with a smile. -What did Hotaru tell you about her drawing?

-How do you know that I asked her about the drawing?

-I can see it in your eyes. -Michiru said and laughed. -So?

-Well, Usagi and Seiya, -she said the last word really really clearly. -appear to be “the Golden Couple” who have a very great might.

-That means they are meant for each other, am I right ?

-Correct. -said Setsuna. -I remember hearing about them in the past, but I never thought that Seiya and Usagi would be the ones that feel the strongest love in the Universe.

-The strongest love in the Universe? But I thought that Usagi and Mamoru were meant for each other and not them. -Haruka said and looked at Setsuna.

-They were, until The Three Lights showed up. Yaten changed Minako’s, Taiki changed Amy’s and Seiya changed Usagi’s time line. When Seiya met Usagi, he changed Usagi and Mamoru’s future, without even knowing it, and Chibi-usa will not be born, she will not exist at all.

Haruka and Michiru were shocked at what Setsuna had said, they thought that Usagi would stay with Mamoru, but it looked as if Seiya and Usagi would stay together. They had a long discussion that evening.

Seiya and Usagi were walking home holding hands .Usagi was crying.

-Why is my beauty crying ?-asked Seiya in a sad voice.

-I am afraid that we won’t be able to save them and turn them back to normal, Seiya.

-Tell me, do you love me?

-I love you more than anything, but what does this have to do with anything ?

Seiya smiled nicely.

-I feel the same about you too, so I am certain that our love will defeat any evil and bring our friends back.

-Oh, Seiya. -Usagi began crying again.

-No, no need for tears, my dear. Don’t stain your pretty face. Don’t stain your nose. -Seiya kissed Usagi’s nose. -Or your cheek. -he kissed her left cheek. -Or your other cheek. -he kissed it too. -Or your sweet red lips. -he kissed her lips with a long, deep kiss.

The end of chapter 8. Silly, huh? Well, I am a real romantic and I just love to write about kisses! Sorry, sorry, sorry, but I am just a real romantic girl!
