True Love Never Dies

(Written by Idile -me. The characters of Sailor Moon don’t belong to me, but to N. Takeuchi. I am just a fan of her work and am using her characters in my story. Though there are some characters that belong to me, but I think you know which characters. I am too tired to write what they are, so I’ll skip that part.)

CHAPTER14

-Now…-Haruka began in her rough voice. -Let’s talk Seiya.

Seiya was very surprised, it was the first time in the whole time he knew Haruka, that her voice didn’t sound mocking, when she said his name, but rather friendly.

-What about? If it's about Odango’s and my wedding, I didn’t force her, she agreed, because she wanted to, and you cannot change anything.

-Lie. -She said though the thought of discussing that topic was tempting. -I want to discuss something else.

-What for example?

-Your strange behavior. -Haruka said looking at Seiya with suspicious eyes. -Is there something you might be hiding?

-I’m…I’m not. -Seiya tried to lie, but that didn’t work too well on Haruka.

-You are! -She hit the table with her fists. -I know you are and I’m not going to let you go until I know what it is.

-This is none of your worries Haruka-san. -Seiya said looking at the table then turning his head towards the window. -What’s bothering me has nothing to do with you.

Haruka loosened her fists and sighted.

-You should tell me, I might be able to help.

Seiya never left his eyes off the window and didn’t look at Haruka.

-There is no need to be troubled Haruka, it is absolutely not important and has nothing to do with Odango.

-Are you sure? -Haruka asked thinking Seiya might be lying again.

-Hai, I’m sure. Now I have to go. Sayonara, Haruka-san. -He got up and left.

-Have it your way, Seiya. -Haruka whispered to herself. -I’ll find out sooner or later.

Kaite was sitting in her room and looking at the mirror.

-Oh God, why do I have to keep going on like this? -She whispered quietly to herself. -Am I afraid? Am I afraid to die? Why could I not go away from Nyaga and live with the other Senshi on this planet? Would they accept me after they found out what I did and was going to do?

-No, I have to be on Nyaga’s side if I ever want to see Sailor Chorine again. (I don’t know, in my language it would be Sailor Chiron.)

Some time after the meeting (an hour or so) Usagi, Minako, Rei, Makoto and Ami met for a picnic in the park. It was really hot, so everyone put either shorts or a skirt on.

Makoto had brought over a lot of food as usual and Usagi was beginning to dig in first, as usual. All the girls were smiling at her, even Rei who usually would start an argument with Usagi about what a pig she was when she eats. But somehow the mood was too good and none of them wanted to spoil it.

-Usagi-chan, slow down a little bit, will you? -Makoto said looking at her brought food quickly beginning to disappear in Usagi’s stomach.

-Don’t worry Mako-chan, there will be some food left. -She replied not turning away from the food.

-Not if you keep this up there won’t. -Ami said sweat dropping. -I think we could better study and not eat.

Now everyone else was sweat dropping.

-Oh Ami-chan …-Minako said. -Tomorrow is the last day of school! Why would we need to study now? We have absolutely no homework! -She shouted, grabbed Ami’s books and threw them away, then put a hand on Ami’s shoulder. -You won’t be needing those.

Everyone was shocked. Even Usagi stopped eating to look at Minako. Tears went down Ami’s cheeks (those that hang out like Sailor Iron Mouse had in her last episode).

-Minako-chan! Don’t be so cruel to Ami-chan! -Makoto said to Minako, who didn’t understand why everyone was staring at her like that.

-Relax minna. -Minako said with a big smile on her face. -Ami, I brought some magazines, I think they should be much better than those schoolbooks, ne?

-I guess…but…-Ami said turning to look at the side where her books were freely flying away.

-Hey Minako-chan, do you have any comic books over there? -Usagi asked and everyone sweat dropped.

-Here they are, Usagi-chan, -Minako said giving her a few comic books, which Usagi immediately grabbed and began reading and giggling. -Thanks. -You’re welcome, -Minako said.

-I wonder what Seiya sees in her …she is SO childish! -Rei said.

-So I like comic books… so what? I saw you hiding a big pile of comic books in your room too, Rei. -Usagi stated and Rei exploded. -That means you read comic books yourself.

-I do NOT!

-Yes you do.

-No, I don’t.

-DO!

-DON’T!

-Do!

Everyone was watching them and wondering how this argument would turn out. Ami was still quite depressed about her books.

-Calm down Usagi-chan and Rei-chan.

-Luna, Artemis! -Usagi screamed happily and hugged Luna, throwing away the comic book she was reading.

-What’s the matter Usagi-chan? We saw each other a few days ago. -Luna said trying to escape from Usagi’s big, life squeezing out of a person (even a cat) hug.

-Well I missed you.

-I thought you were too occupied with Seiya to notice. -The dark cat smiled, finally have escaped from Usagi’s grip.

Usagi was red from head to toe. Everyone looked at her narrowing his or her eyes.

-AHA! -The girls said.

-And what did you do Luna? -Rei asked looking at her suspiciously.

-Yes Luna, what DID you do with Artemis? -Makoto asked too and made Luna blush a little.

-We were discussing the new enemy together …-Artemis innocently said.

-Oh were you? -Minako asked. -I saw…-before she could finish Artemis threatened her with his claws. -…Nothing…I saw nothing…

Ami was still in a sad mood, when suddenly her face lit up. Taiki and Yaten were coming to them.

-Tai-chan! -She screamed out of joy and ran to his arms, making Taiki a bit embarrassed.

-I’ve found some books on the way…I believe they’re yours?

-Arigato Tai-chan, domo arigato. -Ami said happily.

-You’re welcome. But I don’t understand who could have thrown these precious books away.

Everyone pointed at Minako.

-Well SOMEONE finally did it! Way to go Minako! -Yaten saluted and got mean looks from Taiki.

The three sat down next to the others.

-Where’s Seiya anyway? -Usagi asked Yaten.

-How should I know? I’m not his baby-sister! I think you should know best, you ARE his girlfriend! -Yaten mumbled out.

-Oh, yeah, he went to that fan club meeting, I forgot! -Usagi giggled.

Everyone fell face fault.

-She never seizes to amaze me. -Rei said getting up.

Yaten turned to Luna who was sitting not far away from him. He scratched behind her ear and she purred to him.

-Hey Luna, I haven’t seen you in a long time, what have you been up to?

-I’ve been discussing the new enemy with Artemis at Minako’s house.

Artemis looked jealously at Yaten, who was talking to Luna.

-Don’t worry Artemis, -whispered Makoto. -Luna loves you, not Yaten.

-Really? -Artemis asked with hopeful eyes.

-Sure! You have absolutely nothing to worry about. -Minako added. -That is because Yaten is in love with ME! -Minako proudly declared. -Me-the goddess of love and beauty -Minako Aino! Ha Ha Ha Ha…-(one of those famous scenes when someone laughs hysterically -in this case-Minako, and then the ocean or something is behind her, you know…)

Everyone has huge sweat drops, even Yaten. People who are at the park begin to stare at them.

-Stop it Minako! Everyone is looking at us! -Ami tries to say but without any success.

-It’s too late. She’s gone. -Rei adds.

Makoto is looking at something or to be exact -someone walking slowly in the park.

-Hey, earth to Makoto! Earth to Makoto! -Yaten says, and then looks to the spot Makoto is watching. Everyone begins to look there too.

-Is it …yes I think it’s the new student isn’t it? -Taiki asks the girls.

-Shim…Shimyu was his name? -Yaten tries to remember.

-SHIRYU! -Minako screams in Yaten’s face.

-Whoa…calm down…sheesh. I didn’t think he was THAT important to you.

-Hey why don’t we call him here? -Rei asked. -I’d sure like to meet him. Looks cute!

-YAY! -All the girls screamed and sent over Makoto to ask him to join them.

She succeeded because he followed her where they were having the picnic.

-Hello, I’m Shiryu. -He said coldly, not at least seemed excited or happy to have come over here.

-Sit down, please. -Ami said politely.

He did as he was told and sat down next to Rei. When she saw him coming, at first she was excited and thinking how cute he was, but when he sat down next to her she had this strange feeling…something inside her was telling her to stay away from him as far as possible. The feeling could only be described as one thing …danger. She felt he was dangerous, but she could not understand why. Rei was beginning to turn pale.

-Rei-chan, is something wrong? -Usagi asked in a very caring voice. -You look very pale.

-Nani? Nothing’s wrong really, I think I’m just hungry, that’s all. -Rei said slowly, but somehow her voice didn’t sound as convincing as she wanted it to be.

-There you go. -Shiryu said giving her one of her own made sandwiches.

-Arigato. -She said taking the sandwich. *What’s the matter with me? I must be just imagining things. That must be it.* Then as she was taking the sandwich, her and Shiryu’s hands accidentally touched and Rei felt a very powerful dark energy.

Rei’s hands began to shake and she dropped the sandwich on the blanket they were sitting on. She stood up very quickly.

-I’m sorry, but I remembered I have some work at the temple, so I have to go, sayonara! -She quickly said and ran towards the shrine as if she had seen a ghost.

Everyone was surprised.

-What happened to her? -Makoto asked concerned.

-Maybe she’s boy shy? -Taiki asked.

-She’s never been THAT boy shy before. -Usagi stated.

-I wish you were more boy shy Minako, and then maybe I would love you. -Yaten whispered to Minako.

She began to blush.

-If it’s all you want from me, then okay.

Everyone continued with what they were doing, only Shiryu was thinking deeply.

*Hm…could she know? Lie, I think she doesn’t. Masaka.* He smiled evilly to himself. *I’ll just play along and then I’ll make my move. *

End of chapter 14. I’m really sorry it took that long to write, but I had no ideas what to write in this chapter. I know it’s not good, but I’ll try to make the next one better.
