Kylie Mastriani seems like a normal 16-year-old girl. But, in
reality, she's not.-

She has just moved to Los Angeles, California from New York City.
Kylie was a blonde, but as she grew up, her hair slowly became more a
sunkist color. Brown hair with blonde streaks. She is extremely fair,
and isn't used to tanning. (In New York, it wasn't a very common
thing to do.)
Kylie, wasn't what you would call 'Miss Popular' at her old school in
the City. She was, well there's no other word, an outcast. She only
had one best friend, Liz, and no one else. And it's not because she's
not attractive that she was an outcast. Actually, she was very
attractive. But, Kylie, isn't normal.
She is a witch. Not all witches are bad, and Kylie would definitely
not qualify as a bad witch. But, she is a witch. With powers.
She first realized that different when she was only 4. And would make
things happen whenever she was scared or upset. But it wasn't until
she was 10, and she met Liz that she learned what she really was. Her
and Liz had gone to a carnival to see a psychic. When Kylie first
walked into the room, the psychic was scared. And then, when they sat
down, she explained to Kylie that she was a witch. The psychic
explained everything to her, and told her how to practice, and how to
educate herself to use her powers. And now, Liz, of course, knew the
truth, but she just thought is was cool, and she didn't tell anyone.
She did what she was told and was now better with controlling her
powers. But still not great. Like this one time back at her old
school, she was really mad a a girl, and Kylie turned her into a
frog, right in front of everyone. Nobody could explain it, but
everyone still blamed Kylie. And many people called her a witch. But,
if they only knew.
Anyways, Kylie had lost her dad when she was only 8 years old, and
her Mom had just gotten remarried to some guy who lives in LA. So,
that's why she's here. Monday is her first day at some high school
called La Brea High. She was extremely nervous. She just hoped that
at this school would be different. But, she still misses New York.

Name: Alexandra (Alex) Carlson
Alex Carlson is a 16-years-old, pretty, brunette, with bright
brilliant green eyes. She is tall, about 5'8, and is very muscular
thanks to her swimming She lives in LA with her messed up family, and
goes to La Brea High. Her mom is a drunk who couldn't care less about
who she goes out with or what she does. And her father is a business
man who does nothing but work all the time.  She has two sisters. One
who is bulimic, and manic-depressive, and is 25 years old and still
lives at home. All she does is sit around home reading comics all the
time. And the other who is now at Harvard, and is a pure genius.
Alex, surprisingly hasn't rebelled against her family yet. But,
probably one of these days will snap. She is a good student, no
genius, but she's smart. And loves swimming. 
Alex also has a secret. She has a gift. The power of levitation. Her
best friend, Erika Terse, is the only one who knows about it. They
have been best friends ever since they first met each other and
noticed that they had the same necklace. (the amulet). She revealed
her secret to her b/c Erika also has a secret. Erika and her stay
friends no matter where Erika moves.  But she hasn't heard from her
since her last move to a new foster home.
Alex doesn't know that she is a Daughter of the Sun yet. But, she
will...eventually.
