As usual I continue to be a big fan of Patricia Cornwell... In this book a girl is found murdered the same way the infamous Gault leaves his victims. Lucy, expelled from the FBI for espionage (which is completely unlikely and incredibly outrageous!), in a car accident and arrested for DWI. The good thing is she was cleared but only after it was found that - her partner and ex-lover - Carrie was selling FBI secrets and that the accident was actually meant for Kay (who as we all know Carrie hates). This story takes a weird twist though when it turns out the child's mother killed her! Though a freaky thought there is such things like this that happen and us referred to as (another example can be seen in the movie "The Sixth Sense". The actual title of this book The Body Farm only appears briefly in the story it is showed as a grotesque center where they test the effects of the elements on donated bodies in order to see how it affects the bodies.) |
