Featured Novels:

1) A Grave Talent

This was a pretty cool book for a first novel...Martinelli, just assigned to the Homocide is sent to investigate the death of three little girls. To solve this case she must not only solve this mystery but gain respect from her fellow cops and new partner - Alonzo Hawkin. The key suspect to this case turns out to be none other than the mysterious Vaun Adams - considered to be one of the greatest artists of the time. But Adams holds the key to a secret and Martinelli has to solve it. My suggestion - Read it!

2) To Play the Fool

A homeless man is murdered in Golden Gate Park leaving Martinelli and Hawkin to discover his murderer who may have resided among an ancient order.

3) With Child

Sad to say this one was not as good as the first (actually I think it's the third book but I haven't seen the second one anywhere... if you've read it your one up on me!) Martinelli gets the duty of looking after Hawkin's daughter while he and his new wife are on their honeymoon. This is a mystery remember! - don't expect it to be sugar coated... Needless to say her charge gets kidnapped and Martinelli has a major crisis problem... Not only is the daughter missing but Casey's physically getting over surgery (she was shot on duty in #2), her lover has left her and now she has to tell Hawkin she lost his daughter. Oh boy...Don't worry it's all for the better in the end and though it's not one of my faves. It's still pretty good.
