Although neither the boys nor the girls got onto the scoreboard, many good things took place. Andrew Haslam took 11th in the 200m and 12th in the long jump, Jon Nelson took 7th and Scott Valdevieso 9th in the high jump, the boys 4X 400 took 15th and the 4 X 100 placed 8th. On the girls side Alisha Crothers took 15th and tied the school record in the pole vault with a vault of 8'6", Erica Brauer finished second in her heat in the 1500 after leading up until the final 100m, Julie Wing had a two foot PR in the shot, and Katie Hodgson got a nice cold shower in her 1500m race as a monsoon engulfed the meet halfway through her race then soon cleared up for the rest of the day. |
