GRANT 104, Madison 56, Jefferson 21

After almost a three week break between meets, Madison had a disappointing showing at Grant High school.  Although a number of athletes had P.R.'s and some success, Madison just didn't have the numbers to match-up with Grant.  One athlete in particular who had an outstanding meet was John Nelson who had a P.R. in the high jump, just missed a PR in the triple jump, and won the 110 HH.

As with the boys, the Lady Senators simply didn't have enough firepower to match up with a very strong Grant girls program.  The Senators were led by strong performers such as Katie Hodgson in the 1500 and 3000, Alisha Crothers in the 800 and javelin, Julie Wing in the discus and javelin, and Lydia Churchill in the high jump.
