In a meet where Madison's numbers simply dominated Jefferson, the Senators simply breezed through the meet for the dominating victory. The main highlight for the girls was Alisha Crothers taking the lead in the battle for the school's pole vault record with a vault of 8' 7", which set the record for now...
Much like the girls, the boys were able to overwhelm the undermanned Democrats. In what could have been a somewhat interesting meet if Jefferson had been at full strength, the Senators yawned their way through to the victory. The highlight of the meet for the boys was Rory Wojciehaski's 14:06.5 in the 3000m race. Rory managed to keep the proud Madison tradition of one thrower a year running the 3000m race. Great job Rory! Also congrats to the freshman boys who threw one of the first shutouts in Madison history winning 91-0.
