MADISON 90, Wilson 87, Roosevelt 6 In a finish that has only been matched by the boys meet against Franklin this year, the Senators pulled off the upset over Wilson, and also beat Roosevelt. With the meet on the line, the Madison 4 X 400 relay team turned in a gritty performance and won going away. The girls official record is 2-2, while the unofficial total is 4-2. Some outstanding performances were turned in by: Katie Hodgson who placed first in all four of her events, Alisha Crothers who had three first places and third place finish, Ruby Buckley who also was in the top spot three times along with a second place in the 100hh, Cezanne Surratt who had three firsts and a third, and also Erica Brauer who turned in some very strong performances. |

Wilson 100, MADISON 76, Roosevelt 10
After what started out as a close meet, Wilson pulled away with strong performances in three events to take the meet, while both Madison and Wilson were able to dominate Roosevelt. After the meet, Madison's official record now stands at 2-2, and unofficially moved to 4-2. Top performers included Rory Wojo in the javelin and discus, Travis Hollriegel in the 1500 and the 3000, Scott Duong in the 800, 1500, and 4 X 400 and Andrew Haslam in the long jump, 4 X 400, 4 X 100, and the 200. |
