David J. D'Appolonia is Chairman of CompuSport International, Inc., a company engaged in golf instruction with the use of biomechanics systems at its training centers. He is also Chairman of Citadel Asset Management, Inc., a publicly owned holding company which, through subsidiaries, is engaged in the environmental service business, and Managing Director of Saturn Asset Management, an investment banking firm specializing in capitalizing small growth companies through private placements. Dr. D'Appolonia formerly served as an executive officer in an environmental contracting company and a manufacturer and distributor of disposable medical products. He also has served as CEO of two large international geotechnical engineering firms.

Dr. D'Appolonia's academic career includes a bachelor of science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he began his career as a Researcher and Professor of Civil Engineering.
