"You and me
We used to be together
Every day together always"

She was at the park, waiting. Waiting for him. She was sitting on the bench under the moonlight night. It had been an hour, which seen like eternity. She supposed be there about 15 minutes before meeting up with him. She couldn't. She couldn't stay home and wait. She had to be there early. He told her to meet up there, without saying why with a shaky voice, but she knew why. She had a feeling why. While playing with the necklace, which had his ring as a pendant, that he had gave to her, she though about the first time they met.

It was about 2 years ago. She was Elijah's childhood friend and was staying with him before he left for New-Zealand. She was partying a little bit to hard and end up drunk. She didn't remember much the following day. But when she woke up, someone was sleeping on her chair, near the balcony. She looked at him, starring at him, as he slowly woke up. Then she realized, he helped her through out the ruff night. Basically, dishing the party for her. Then she remembered that Elijah wanted to hook her up with a friend of his. It was Orlando. She remembered him. She same Orlando who helped her. She felt so embarrassed about the situation, but he made her feel comfortable and they started a conversation slowly. It was an instant connection.

"I really feel
Like I'm losing my best friend
I can't believe
This could be the end"

She slowly opened her eyes filled with tears. She felt and knew it would be the end of them. The Golden Couple, as their friends named them. Everything between the both of them had change. He had change, while she was trying to make it better. He had change ever since the party of "The Two Towers" premiere. She was blind by his love and his affection. Elijah and Viggo had accompanied them to their apartment, because they needed to talked to him and asked her to leave the room. While changing in their bedroom, she heard the 3 men arguing about something, but she couldn't made up why. There were hissing and curses words between them. Then, the door slammed. She ran out of the bedroom and noticed that Orlando had left the apartment. Elijah and Viggo just looked at her with desperation in their faces. She was worry and he only came back the next day, looking restless.

"It looks as though you're letting go
And if it's real
Well I don't want to know"

For the past few months, she felt a change in him. He became so quiet, so reserve, didn't open like he used to, didn't show his affection like he used to and didn't cuddled with her anymore during the long cold nights. It seemed like he doesn't want to share anything with her no more. To make thing worse, Elijah and Viggo were telling her to dumped, leave him, without any giving her a reason why. They only said they had a bad feeling about Orlando, afraid that he would hurt her. Despise the warning, she continued her life with Orlando like it used to. But deep down, she knew there was something wrong and they were saying the truth. He became so distant and always find a way to avoid her.

"Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me, 'cause it hurts"

She heard someone was approaching. The scent was intoxicating and knew who it was. She knew it was him behind her, but she didn't bother to look up. Not to reveal how upset she was. A hand rested on her right shoulder. She only took a peek in the corner of her teary eyes and stared back on the dirty ground. Orlando slowly sat down next to her, with a sad expression on his face. She slowly lift her eyes and gazed into his deep brown chocolate eyes. A few strain of his curl were messing around in the front of his eyes. He didn't bother to arrange himself. Not even a gel in his hair. He noticed how fragile and skinny she got. He noticed how many weight she had lost in a matter of 2 weeks. Another tear trailed down her soft and peach cheeks. He wiped away the tear, but she moved his hand away. She started to breathe heavily and biting the corner of her lips. They only looked at each other, no words, just stared. Then he broke the silence, "Angel, I'm sorry. Please, let me --". She silenced him, by just raising a single hand in front of her chest and rested on the necklace. Stood up and walked a few steps away from him, silentely. Just hearing him saying his favorite nickname to her, brought many more memories.

"Angel" was the only nickname that Orlando gave her, beside "Baby" or "Love". Since the day he met her, to his eyes, she was the angel sent from heaven from him. She was so pure, so innocent, compared to the others ladies he knew and met. Or that was he said. For the past few months, she doesn?t know what to believe anymore. Wondered if he said the truth or it was one of his 'another' performance.

"Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
I don't need your reason
Don't tell me, "cause its hurt"

Her heart was shattering into million pieces, just by his close presence. She wanted to be in his arms, go back like it was the first time they were together. Forget the whole madness and returned back what it was right, what was comfortable. She turned around and looked him into the eyes. Yet again, no words were exchange between them, but she could read what was in his eyes. They were still fixed into hers, fill with sadness, fear, anger, confusion and regret. She knew what was in his mind, she could feel it. He lowered his head and looked at the ground, feeling disgusted with himself. One of his hand was covering his face and the other was squeezing his kneecap. All of sudden she wanted to comfort him, hold him close, telling him that everything was going to be okay. But nothing wasn't going to be okay. He was the one who was leaving her. Not her, but him.

She slowly bend her head, as her left arm was wrapped around her waist. Slowly ran her fingers through her hair with the other hand, not knowing what to think anymore. The ring was dangling back and forth from the necklace. She wanted to run. She wanted to collapsed. She wanted to die. She regained the strengths to stood there, breathe heavily, closed her eyes, as more tears made its appearance.

"Our memories
They can be inviting
But some are altogether
Mighty frightening"

She reminisced the time when he had declared his love for her. He had planed the perfect day to do so. Orlando knew she was in love with the beach and manage to had one isolated for the special day. He picked her up after work and they went horse back-riding near the beach. She even planed to be a marine biologist and moved to Australia to study near the Coral Reef, and he decided to come with her and stayed there. Even to have a family.

He had prepare a picnic at the beach, while the sun was setting. Then, they built a fire on the beach, cozying up each other under a blanket. She was resting her head on his chest and he lowered down to her ear and whispered to into her ear, the only words which anyone longer to heard, "I Love You, my angel". She turned to him as her eyes started to shine. She smiled, kissed him deeply and declared her love for him also. It was also the same night, they made love with each other. The first time, when they shared their body to one an another. They made love with many passions burning in their bodies. On the same night, before they went to bed, he gave her his most precious ring. The ring as a sign of his love for her. The same ring which was on her necklace, because it was to big for her little fingers. They were happy. They were in love. They were going to get marry... he promised.

"As we die, both you and I
With my head in my hands
I sit and cry"

She couldn't hold on longer. She felt on her fragile knees, on the cold solid ground, her hands covering her face entirely. She felt that she was going insane. She felt so trap. All of sudden, she lose hope on everything and everyone. Even on herself. She felt that she couldn't trust anyone anymore. She felt so alone and cold. Orlando ran up to her immediately, holding her close to him. To his heart. She was his heart and soul, but everything had change and they both knew why. He never wanted to happen. He never asked for it, but it was a question of time. She managed to break away from his arms and wanted to run, but didn?t. He looked at her, at her helpless body, nearly crying all of her tears away. He wanted to so something. He wanted to say something, but she seemed to know everything he wanted to say. Of course she did, she saw him with another woman.

"Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me, 'cause it hurts"

She was shopping with Elijah on a sunny afternoon at the mall, looking for something for Orlando. Elijah was disapproving with the fact that she was still with him. He still didn't knew why she should leave him, but all he felt was that something was wrong with Orlando. They were laughing and enjoying each others different memories and stories about New-Zealand. Something that she always asked from Elijah. Even though he started to get tired to reapeat the same stories, but he knew it would make her laugh. She wanted to come, but she couldn't because she was in school. When they were about to turn to the corner of a store, there it was. The truth of Orlando's different behavior. The truth why he was different. The truth why he was avoiding her. She almost blacked and collapsed on the ground. She didn't know what to do or think. She was in shock for the sight and couldn?t move. Before she could even do anything, Elijah took her away from the horrific scene and drove back to his home. Comforting her, letting him be the shoulder to cry on.

"Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
I don't need your reason
Don't tell me, 'cause its hurt"

The picture was still grave into her mind and though. The picture of him all comfortable and kissing someone else was torturing her mind, her soul and her heart. The woman was looking very familiar to her. She saw her a lot, since she was always there from every single party and premiere. Kate Bosworth was the kind of girl Orlando always goes for. She knew it, how come she could be so blind? She couldn't compare to the beautiful, shy, nice shape blonde that Kate was. She felt so used and unworthy.

She didn't return back to the apartment that day, and Orlando was calling everywhere to find her. Once the ring had reach Elijah's place, she was in her old room. Curled up into a little ball, playing with the necklace, crying slowly as she heard her best friend yelling on the phone. Yelling to the fact that she finally knew about it. They finally knew it. Knew about Orlando and Kate. About why he had change. Yelling at Orlando, what was on his mind and didn't let him talk to her. Elijah never though that Orlando could went this far. He never thought he could cheated on her. He thought he was the perfect match for her. Everyone though they were the perfect match. They though they were going to get marry. She had been hurt in numerous times, by different men. They thought he was different. She thought Orlando was different.

"It's all ending
I gotta stop pretending who we are?
You and me
I can see us dying, are we?"

Liv, who was a big sister, Viggo, who was a father figure to her, and Elijah were there for her to every step of the day. Even Dominic, Sean and Billy were there for her and couldn't believe their ears when they heard about the pain that Orlando had given to her. The same Orlando who was talking and asking non stop question about his "Angel" a few years back. They were there for her when she didn't came out of her bedroom for a week straight. They were there for her when she didn't eat a meal for a week. Everyone was convinting her not to show up for the meeting, but knew how much she needed answers. To her wishes, they let her go. To made things clean. It was hard, since she had found out that he had been cheating on her ever a little bit before the night of "The Two Towers" premiere. He had went to Kate's place after the argument between him, Elijah and Viggo. They were arguing about the rumors they heard about him and Kate. Warning him, telling him to stop and to choice and not to play her. He was denying everything.

"Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me, 'cause it hurts"

She turned to him, trying to look strong, but dying from the inside. She looked at him as many tears cascaded from her eyes. To her much surprise, he, also, was crying. By the look of the puffiness under his eyes, he haven't slept a lot either. She allowed him to stroke his soft hand on her cheeks, wiped away a few of her tears. As the other was on her waist. Oh God, she wanted to be in his strong arms again. The arms, that once made her felt so protected. She wanted to be a nightmare, and woke up the next day. But it was real. Oh so real. She finally got up and moved a few steps away from him and looked at him in the eyes, once more, while surrounding her arms around her waist. He looked up and he, also got up, looking at her as his tears were cascading also.

"My angel, I never meant to happen. I?m so sorry and I was going to tell you... Really... I still do love you?"

"And when were you going to tell me? If you loved me, like you say you do, you wouldn't hurt me like this. Why couldn't you be honest at first? No explanations could repair the damage that already been done. We don't have any more choice... but to move on..."

"Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
I don't need your reason
Don't tell me, 'cause it hurts"

Before he could say anything back to her, she unclasped the necklace off her neck. Took his hand, placed it in his palm and closed it. She kissed him on the forehead and walked away, crying. Stood their in the darkness of the park, with only the moon as the light and a lonely bench, he watched her walk away. Looking at her as her figure disappeared in the dark, but still heard her cries. She had walked away from him, from his life. He left her a long time ago. Then, he realized that Elijah and Viggo were right. He had play her. He had play his Angel. He had played his first true love. Only then to realized again, he still loved her and done the biggest mistake of his life.
