-          Wonder what is going on between them two?, I asked looking at Buffy and Karlie talking.

-          We will find out., Tilky said to me.

-          True., I sighed.

-          Guys lunch is almost over so what’s the go for tonight?, Dee asked.

-          Well come over to my place. My folks aren’t home., Ryan said.

-          I’m sure I will be welcome!, Dee said sarcastically before Ryan added something.

-          Stuff Clay, just come and have fun.

-          Ryan!, Clay called out from a table not far away.

-          What?, he asked as his brother walked over.

-          I was speaking to a few friends and I wanted to know if they could rock over., he said sitting where Karlie was.

-          Why not?, Ryan said shrugging.

-          Hey everyone!,, Clay said greeting as everyone said “Hello!”

-          Looks like it will be a party!, Tilky said grinning.

-          What?, Clay asked looking at him.

-          We are rocking up too., I said smiling.

-          Cool! Looks like a party then., Clay added.

-          Sure does!, Dee said looking at her book for her next lesson.

-          Don’t like a party Dee?, he asked.

-          Yeah she sure does! She can party with the best!, I said sticking up for Dee.

-          I might have to see that for myself., Clay said smiling.

-          I’m sure you will!, she said still looking at her book.

-          Well I guess I’ll put your party skills to the test.

-          Might… depends., she said while looking at Clay in the eyes.

-          On what?, he asked.

-          If you can handle my heat. Or there’s defeat., Dee said challenging him.

-          I’ll see how hot your fire is…

-          I bet you will!, I said to Tilky.

-          Clay!

-          What?, he asked Ryan.

-          Piss off!, Ryan said laughing at his brother.

* In Math Class *

-          Now if it takes 15 minutes to travel from point A to B at 50 miles. How long would they have to travel to get from B to point C if they have to get there and it is 70 miles away?, our teacher asked the class as I tried hard not to laugh when no one answered.

-          Come on people it’s not hard! Why do they give me students who don’t want me to teach?, she sighed.

-          I don’t know Miss., Dee said.

-          At least you’re listening., she said.

-          No takers?, she added as there was a knock on the door.

-          Karlie what can I do for you?, she asked as she opened the door.

-          Just got to give some students some information.

-          I’ll let you do that, if you get one of them 2 answer the question.

-          What is it?, Karlie asked looking at the board.

-          Anyone work it out yet?, our teacher asked looking at us.

-          12 miles from A to B., Karlie mouthed to me.

-          What?, I mouthed not sure what she said.

-          12 from A to B!, she repeated counting 12 on her fingers.

-          Miss? It’s 12 miles from A to B right?, I asked.

-          Yes now how fast?!, our teacher asked pleased.

-          If they go 12 miles in 15 minutes then it would take more than 15 minutes., I said trying not to laugh.

-          Oh I give up!, the teacher sighed.

-          43 minutes!, Karlie mouthed to me.

-          Around 43 minutes?, Dee said seeing Karlie was trying to tell me.

-          Thank you! There is a god!, the teacher said raising her arms in the air.

-          Can I take some people now?, Karlie asked.

-          Sure!, the teacher said.

* Once Out Of The Classroom *

-          Right! Now what’s going on?, I asked as we walked out of the classroom.

-          You can play bass right Dee?, Karlie asked.

-          Yeah?, she said confused.

-          And you guitar?, Karlie asked while pointing at me.

-          Yup!, I said wondering what’s going on.

-          Good that’s all!, she said before walking off.

-          That’s all?, I sighed.

-          That’s all!, The teacher sighed.  Dee said shaking her head.

When school was done for the week, Dee, Karlie, Tilky and myself decided to go to the supermarket to get some food and other things for the Goodell’s Party that night.

-          Chips! Chips! Chips!, I said as Tilky pushed a shopping trolley and I put food into it.

-          Why are we buying the food?, he asked.

-          Because you normally eat all the food., I joked.

-          Well that hurt!, he said pretending to be hurt.

-          Oh poor baby!, I said giving him a kiss.

-          Guys stop making out and get food!, Dee called out as she pushed Karlie around the supermarket in a shopping trolley.

-          Oh we need drinks! Hark to the drink isle!, Karlie said pretending to row a boat.

-          Eye! Eye Captain!, Dee said saluting Karlie.

-          I don’t know them., I said laughing.

-          Know who?, Tilky asked smiling.

-          Smart ass!, I laughed.

-          Shhhh don’t tell any one!, he said adding with a smile.
