Baby Girl Window

This song was written for Richard's eldest daughter Samantha Beckinsale about her father by Robbie Williams and released on his Life Thru A Lens album. It has a lot of Richard's literary style in it and echoes his own words... "...baby girl widow will make my dreams come true...", and "...with my rainbow in the shadow cast your sunbeams down on me..." from his poetry.

I've got your rainbows seen your sunbeams,
I know a place where heaven breathes,
And its through her window,
Your baby girl's window,
I know youre happy where you are,
Singing to the moon talking to the stars,
Through her window,
Your baby girl's window,
Theres finger marks around her soul,
But your laughter fills the hole,
Through her window,
Your baby girl's window,
I wish you would stay,
To see what she made of herself,
People say you were gone too soon,
I see your flowers bloom,
Through her window,
Your baby girl's window,
I'm looking for the words to say,
Something to take the pain away,
Through her window,
I wish you would stay,
To see what she made of herself,
