BLOOMERS (1979)

Richard played the part of Stan, an out of work actor who became a partner in a florists shop in this sitcom set in a small London flower business.

The sitcom only lasted one series, and was originally intended to have six episodes. But Richard died on the morning of rehearsal for the sixth episode, and no further episodes were made. Bloomers, written by James Saunders and produced by Roger Race was transmitted at 9.30pm on Thursdays between September 27th and October 25th.

I currently have no more information on this production and would appreciate any facts anyone can provide about it.
