RICHARD BECKINSALE
Was born in Nottingham. He trained for the theatre at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and went on from there to work in repertory at Crewe, Colchester, Hull and Leeds. He has appeared in numerous television plays including A Roomful of Holes, Madly In Love, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes and the yet to be shown serial for the BBC, The Donati Conspiracy. He is best known for the part of geofrey in the series The Lovers. He has no hobbies of particular interest to anyone else except perhaps free-fall parachuting and the reconstructing of the Napoleonic Wars with lead soldiers. He studied Chinese Philosophy and Austrian Paper Tearing at the Beeston College of Further Education but discovered there was no money in it.
