The Naming of Cubs

The naming of cubs is a difficult matter.
It isn't just one of your ragabash games.
You may think that I am as mad as Moon Otter,
when I tell you a cub may have THREE different names.
First of all, there's the name that the Garou use daily,
such as Andrea, Hazmat, Thom Crowley, or James.
Some are strange like Kiana, hard to spell like Seirian,
but all of them sensible, everyday names.
But a Groo needs a name that's all chock-full of glory,
a name that's peculiar, and more dignified.
Else how can they talk up his deeds in a story, or
carve out his name on a rock when he's died?
Of names of this kind I can give you a list,
Such as Blight-render, Stormcloud, or Blood Running Red,
Such as Mighty Hand's Shadow of Blood Thunder's Claw
Silent Song in the Night, Gaia's Elbow Wrist Wrist.*
But above and beyond there's still one name left over,
And that is the name you can't say, only see,
The name that no human research can discover
But the wolves themselves know, and can write it in pee.
